  1. turned out I had to uncheck these boxes in device manager. All working now Thanks for your help
  2. My computer sleeps and wakes fine for about a week at a time. Then all of a sudden, the screen won't come on and the razer mouse light lights.... and that's it. If I run the the whole suite of tweaking.com utilities, it starts working again. It is working now, but I am wondering what information can be gathered, the first time it fails, to find the culprit. Thanks, Windows 10 22H2 19045.3086 Huananzhi f8 x99 board e5-2699 v3 undervolted and turbo mod 128gb ddr4 2133 ecc two 2080ti nvlink EVGA SuperNOVA 1000 P6
  3. Ok, reinstalled windows and played destiny2 25 minutes and then froze with blue screen It finally created a dump file SysnativeFileCollectionApp.zip
  4. Ok, so I already had the ultimate performance in my power schemes. I switched from high performance, but it seemed to make it fail sooner. I ran memtest 86 up to 60% but had to quit to actually do work. No errors in that time and my memory is ecc. Also the timings were set to stock. It appears that it is some sort of kernel power. The power supply should be big enough. Could it be an issue with where I have this machine plugged in? Could the wall power be screwing with things? I had already run the tweaking app and reset everything. This last crash was after a driver update to nvidia 531.79. The crash took 10 minutes in destiny 2. Also the Blue screen never finishes collecting crash info. I guess I will try reinstalling windows,. Coul
  5. First let me say that I know my system is unusual and has a lot of potential for problems. Currently I am having an issue with games like Destiny 2 and Shadow of the Tomb Raider freezing the entire computer, after about 10 minutes. Time Spy benchmark doesn't. Neither does Superposition or Heaven. There is no BSOD, just video and audio freeze. I checked the event viewer and have attached a screenshot. I am getting Bugcheckcode 257 I built this sysem back at the end of 2020 as a bit of a hobby, but it has been very reliable and I hope this can be figured out. Motherboard: Huananzhi F8 X99 Processor: e5-2699 v3 (with bios mod to turbo all cores at 3.6ghz all the time) Cooler: ARCTIC Liquid Freezer II 240 Boot Drive: Samsung 970 nvme memory: quad channel DDR-2133 (tightened up a couple of steps) GPU: Dual 2080ti Nvlink (aux fan and temps are balanced) PSU: EVGA SuperNOVA 1000 P6, 80 Plus Platinum 1000W My temps are ridiculously low. The processor seldom tops 50c. The GPUs were repasted and run real cool and my additional fan in the case has managed to keep both temps completely balanced. I would appreciate your thoughts
  6. Huananzhi F8 motherboard Xeon e5-2699 v3 unlocked to 3.6ghz Nvlink Nvidia 2080ti FE 128gb ddr4 2133 ram Why does 4k optomized score so much higher?
  7. So I figured out it was bad thermal paste on that card

  9. Bouncing this over here, because it is turning into an sli thing Hello, I am having an issue with one of my Nvidia 2080ti overheating under load. It's the bottom card. Strangely, it seems to run a bit colder until it doesn't System Huananzhi F8 motherboard e5-2699 v3 xeon 128g 2133 dual Nvidia RTX 2080 ti FE dealing with heat AND driver issues now DRIVER PART OF THE THREAD tempdeath.m4v
  10. So peeling the onion back on this.... If I pull the cards and swap them, the nvidia driver gets destroyed and I loose my screen. If I turn off sli and restart with just the primary card (originally the secondary card), the driver remains intact. If I add the secondary card (originally the primary card) and boot, everything remains fine. If I enable sli, it completely destroys the nvidia driver. I have tried DDU in safe mode and same results with fresh driver install. If I go throught the same steps with the cards in their original position, everything loads fine. Very Strange The take away is that I haven't been able to see if the bottom card overheats in the primary slot.
  11. That was my next thing to do
  12. yea, like i mentioned to middcore, it keeps going up to 89. The entire time the top card stays under 70
  13. Yes, agreed. The video ends at 83, but it keeps going. strange thing is that it's the bottorm card that is heating up. The top card is fine
  14. yea, but was that because it was a 2 space nvlink set up with no air gap? also i am talking about the bottom card
