  1. you can look in the event viewer in windows it sometimes tells you the reason, but I would suspect it could be something else other than PSU, but that is not to say that PSU could be faulty. Dells psus do go bad over time, so you can check event viewer like i said and see what's what, in any event, I would just change it, they use a cheaper than normal PSU anyway hope it helps
  2. from what you are saying is you are bottle-necking
  3. man you are in a sticky situation you have a couple options you can go to one of your friends and see if they have a disc for that any windows 7 than there is a little mod you can do to convert any windows 7 version to the one you need, it requires basically removing the CLG file (link bellow) another option is basically calling the MFG (manufacture DELL, HP, ACER, etc) and have them mail you a copy should be like 20$ or so fyi you cannot install windows on usb without ISO image hope this helps CLG link http://www.askvg.com/how-to-choose-desired-windows-7-edition-version-during-setup/ all you have to do is once u have a dvd, you can basically install it on usb and delete the file that stated in link
  4. ask yourself, do you plan to Watercool it? if not than any of the brands will be okay, I had good luck personally with EVGA and gigabyte. not saying others are bad, but i just used those and had no DOA problems FTW is short for For The Win edition. each card varies from brand to brand and has different clock speeds and what not. if you want the best, just look up the core clocks and compare it, which ever is higher would mean that is slightly VERY SLIGHTLY better than the other, but it is overall only a 5% or less in performance. so to answer your question, there is no wrong or right in this department, they all will generally perform the same in most cases.
  5. there are a ton of reasons why it will not show, do you see the main splash page when you boot pc? if there is no image when you press start, it could be possible there are other issues, Please post what hardware you have.
  6. on a 650ti, for those mentioned games, over 60FPS
  7. short answer, no.. not worth that haste. each battery runs on different frequencies, voltage, and amperage. By mixing them up, you can seriously mess up your components. they probably is a safe way of merging two batteries, but I wouldn't bother with it, because you'd have to tweak a bunch of things and personally, I wouldn't mess with it. Hope it helps, and sorry.
  8. touch call lol i would love a second monitor i am just being honest, now when it comes to $$s i tend to lean to what is more important. I honstly think you will benefit from it.
  9. if you have to pay for it, than no, only because 80$ is kinda too much if you ask me u can put a little more and get decent monitor for your home. I thought you had it lying round ?
  10. Yes, two monitors is always better than one, 3 is better than 2 lol don't worry of how it looks, it can help spread info and make ur life easy go for it. when its time to upgrade you upgrade. I had my 47inch tv with a 4.3 ibm monitor for a while till i upgraded that monitor was not the best, but it did the job.
  11. I am considering to go straight water cooling using you guess it, acrylic tubing, I however, would like insights, what you have found most useful, any ideas as to what you do for your bends. I have a great case and I plan to upgrade my Hardware (mb and cpu) to the Asus x99 ws board and the intel 5960x, I plan to use my current gpus and just stick the waterblock on it, the point of this thread is I would like to know what pumps you all would recommend, for a single loop and multi loop. I have not determined if I would be going to use a multi loop or just use only one pump. any ideas on how you would go about the drain/fill ports. let me kno thanks
  12. Okay I had found some article that can help this is from Google's Site https://support.google.com/voice/answer/115073?hl=en&rd=1 this shows you what you can port, it has some sort of integration with sprint (boo) but in essence, this should help you. let me know if you have further questions.
  13. I have never switched it completely because I wanted the 2 diff numbers and use the GV app to do my texting for that other number I know for a fact that one number will be used instead of 2 if u wish to merge. I'm gonna re read it and get back with u so we are on same page.
  14. only other way is with a voltage meterbut it's corsair I will not worry too hard of it. corsair has great RMA process you have 30 days with amazon and 1 year with corsair I had no issues with corsair psu ever I did have issues with others plus linus throw it off of a roof lol it's pretty good
