  1. That's what I would expect. But i am not seeing the adapter, PXE, or LAN within the Boot tab of the BIOS. I don't know what other BIOS settings would affect PXE other than what I listed above. When the adapters are plugged in, the activity lights do blink.
  2. Trying again. Does anyone have any idea why PXE is not showing up?
  3. I have an ASUS MJ401TA laptop. This laptop does not have an ethernet port, but does support PXE. Relevant (I think) BIOS settings are configured as follows: BIOS Version 303 Network stack configuration Network stack: Enabled Ipv4 PXE Support: Enabled Ipv6 PXE Support: Enabled Secure Boot Secure Boot Control: Disabled A USB to ethernet adapter is required and the BIOS has to support the USB controller on the adapter. I am told by ASUS tech support that the only USB controllers that the BIOS supports to boot PXE are the AX88772B and the RTL8153. The AX88772B for USB 2.0 and the RTL8153 for USB3.0. I have 3 different USB to ethernet adapters, all use the RTL8153 controller. 1. https://store.asus.com/us/item/201909AM270000001/A50067-USB3.0-to-RJ45-Dongle-1000-MBPS-%28OH102%29 2. https://www.dell.com/en-us/shop/dell-adapter-usb-30-to-ethernet-pxe-boot/apd/443-bbbd/pc-accessories 3. Some cheap USB3.0 hub with with an ethernet port form China. Procedure: 1. Laptop is off. 2. Plug in one of the three USB to ethernet adapters in the USB3.0 port. 3. Press the power button to turn on the laptop. 4. Press ESC to got the Boot Menu. I do not see a PXE boot option in the Boot Menu. 5. Repeat procedure for the rest of the USB to ethernet adapters. I do not see a PXE boot option in the Boot Menu for any of the adapters, PXE does not show up as a Boot Option in the BIOS. There is no new path to add a new boot option. Is there something that I am missing or have incorrect?
