Sewerk got a reaction from J.b091 in What do people hate about Apple?
TL;DR apple's idiot followers (not all of them) are the reason i dislike apple so much.

Basically this! i sell windows based laptop's and desktops. I regularly recommend mac's to customers if i believe it will suit their budget and work needs. But it drives me up the wall when i get some hipster idiot pumped up on the magical apple coolaid butt into my conversation with a customer and start hollering about the "SUPERIORITY" of apple products. And yes this happens to me quiet frequently.
Apple has almost created a fanatical cult following for their products, where the consumer gets a whiff of that sweet apple white powder and is driven into a hideous rage of pompous ignorance. This dosnt only happen with apple thou (they are just have a much higher percentage of followers who are like this) you can see this happen with things like "Alienware" and "Holden vs ford" and to some extents "Samsung phones".

All in all i find apple products to be a tad overpriced, but then again i have no use for an apple, so does my opinion really count?. BUT! i do find apple products to be very well built, easy to use, and reliable. So in certain situations they definitively are a better choice over other products.

I work in a tech store and i love it when people come in and ask me questions about their vacuum cleaner not working, or their washing machine. I simple answer "im sorry that is a tad out of my field" they then complain to my manager that the stores technician (of which i make no claim to being a technician) has no idea about his job and that i should be fired.

    Gday Guys,

sorry for the late reply. Spent most of last night trying to fix this and then i was away today.

At any rate its all fixed. Ended up wiping all traces of GPU drivers from the OS install and after a couple of boots (who knows why) the card finally booted. One annoying thing thou, only the older drivers provided with the card worked. the new catalyst drivers failed to install, and after 5 times trying i gave in, went and got an external cd drive (who has internal ones anyway) and installed the provided drivers.

    Everything is working sweet.

    Thankyou for the help!

    Cheers

I haven't been this excited for a game since Starcraft 2.

However i did notice that it seemed overly windy all through that vid. I seriously hope that its not going to be that windy all the time. I find it very immersion breaking when shit is just flying around all the time.

You mean apart from not living in poverty and being shot at, beaten, killed and a plethora of other inhumane and heinous crimes? Yeah what a shit country to live in.
I fully agree on the "tony Abbott" part (i assume that's who you mean) but there are reasons we have fire arm restrictions and to a lesser extent vehicle restrictions. If every Joe and their dog could use guns and drive ridiculous cars, imagine what that country would be like. People in Australia cant even hold themselves back from glass, king hitting random people in the street, now stick a gun in that neanderthals hands, what a great idea.

Also guns are readily available in Australia if you have a license for them, this includes paintball guns.
