  1. so if there is only one connection off the psu but it splits to and 8 and 4+4 its safe to use the 8 and then just 4 into the motherboard?

  3. thats the cable that came with it, they both go to the same 8 pin that connects to the psu

I have recently upgraded my motherboard to an asus rog strix b550-f and purchased a new psu to go with it which was a Cooler Master MWE gold fully modular 750w unit, i noticed the eps splits into both an 8 pin and a 4+4, is it safe to use the 8 pin and then just one of the 4+4 to power my cpu or will i require a 2nd cable. Thanks
