  1. Yeah i tried reseating the 24 and 8 pins and tried booting up with the GPU installed and still the same resulta. The manual says nothing about that orange led.
  2. Hello! Not so long ago i started to build a gaming pc by myself, a little nervous at first but everything went smooth on the assembly. The PC specs are next: Mobo: Asus Prime B450M-A/CSM PSU: EVGA 600Br 80+ Bronze 600w CPU: Ryzen 5 3600 GPU: Nvidia 1660 Super RAM: XPG Spectrix D60G 2x8GB 3200mhz argb Storage: XPG Gammix S11 Pro 256GB M.2 NVME, Seagate Barracuda 1TB 7200 RPM Case: Aerocool Airhawk with 3 included argb fans So far so good but when i tried to power on my rig, nothing worked but a little orange led on my motherboard (see attached image). The fans from the case, CPU, GPU and PSU didnt spin and the RGB lights from my Ram sticks and case fans didnt turn on. I tried several troubleshooting tests to see if i commited a newbie error assembling my machine but nothing worked. The situation was still the same. I even tried the paperclip test on the PSU and didnt work, the PSU still didnt spin so that makes me believe its a DOA psu. Suddenly i remembered that i have an old office HP pc laying around on my house, so i took it and took out the old psu of said old machine. Managed to connect that old psu and Oh surprise, my new PC worked perfectly. the fans, the lights, everything did turn on. I have to say that the old psu only supports up to 300w and have no 6+2 pin connector for the GPU so i didnt had video but atleast everything showed signs of life. I even did the paperclip test on that old psu and did power on, unlike my new evga psu who did not. So i think my new EVGA PSU is DOA, but the fact that my motherboard lights up an orange led when i turn it on with it makes me think i still can save it without submitting a RMA. PS: This is my first post on the forum and english isnt my main language, so im sorry if something is poorly written :) PS2: I tried disconnecting everything and connecting it back, i checked if the front panel connectors worked and even tried jumping starting the pc with a screwdriver on the power pins, tried one ram stick only on the 4 dimms, tried starting without the ssd and tried powering up the pc outside the case on a non static base and even i was using a anti-static wristband.
