Hi there,
I am in need of some advice.
My RTX 2080 super (Rog Strix by Asus :} ) likes climbing to the 83 °C range and I don't like it. I will say my ambient temperature can sometimes raise a bit (approx 18 - 25 °C year round).
But, I have 3 Corsair intake fans, one exhaust fan and two fans pushing air out through radiator at the top of my case.
Airflow in the case isn't the problem, not from what I have seen and tested.
I believe it could be the thermal paste and pads needing replacing (owned the card since 2020).
Any ideas what could be causing this other than that mentioned. I have a full sized case as well as AIO for cpu.
Everything tells me it is the card itself. I can only imagine what the dram temps are. But since I am slightly out of warranty I wondered if maybe I can check pads and paste.
Any advice LTT forums?
Thanks
