  1. Yeah, that seems to be the only solution right now.I really appreciate the help, thanks a lot!
  2. My specs are: GTX 1070 asus turbo Intel Core i5 10600k ASUS ROG STRIX Z490-f gaming KINGSTON HyperX fury RGB DDR4 3200 MhZ 2x16gb Samsung 1TB 970 EVO ASUS ROG STRIX 750G Gold rated 750w NZXT H510 Elite MSI MAG CoreLiquid 240R I have 2 monitors, the other being a 6 year old 1080p IPS, and the problem doesn't happen on that monitor at all.
  3. Thanks for clearing that up, this is a clip from minecraft, and honestly it's so appearant that i feel like it's unplayable. I'm really considering returning the monitor, because the smearing is just ridiculous
  4. It's the under pass bit on mirage, there's like a fence down there. It's really apparent in minecraft too.
  5. i recently bought a G27QC monitor from gigabyte, and i'm experiencing some weird black smearing in most games (CSGO, minecraft, cod etc). It's really bothering me, and i can't seem to fix it by changing refresh rate, overdrive or turning freesync off. See video below for example https://youtu.be/h85nkvdY7ic I knew that VA panels was worse with this issue than IPS panels, but do i really need to return the monitor and get an IPS monitor instead to fix it?
  6. Hey, I'm looking for a new pc monitor which suits my setup. Currently i have Acer 24'' GN246HLBbid 144hz HD as my main gaming monitor, and an AOC e2752Vq as my secondary monitor for spotify, discord, youtube etc, aswell as work and school related stuff. My pc specs (atleast the relevant parts) are: GTX 1070, I5-8400, 16GB DDR4 2666Mhz RAM, 500gb NVME M.2 SSD. The reason i want to upgrade, is because i want a bigger monitor as my main monitor, specifically 27'', as i feel like 24'' is just a tad to small. Aside from gaming, i also watch a lot of movies and tv-shows on my main monitor. My requirements for a new monitor is: 27'', 1440p, 144hz, 1ms update-time, and whether it's curved or not doesn't really matter to me. An online-shop in my country has some screens on sale (about 20% savings), that fullfills my requirements, and i am unsure about which one to get, that will go best with setup. Price does matter to me, as i am on a budget. These are my options: MSI 27'' Optix MAG272QP (323 € reduced from 403 €) Asus 27'' Rog Strix XG27WQ (430 € reduced from 537€) GIGABYTE 27'' Aorus CV27Q (388 € reduced from 456€) MSI 27'' G27CQ4 (309 € reduced from 362€) Taking into account the price and specs, which one would you recommend me? Because i am wondering whether the 120 € price difference between the G27CQ4 and XG27WQ really justifies the increased performance. I plan on sticking with a 2 monitor setup, and i am not sure which screen to keep either. On one hand, i like my smaller acer monitor, primarily because it is 144hz, and secondly the colors are brigther and less 'murky' than my AOC monitor. On the downside: its only 24'', and 144hz really doesnt matter a lot if i just use my secondary monitor for 'secondary' tasks. If i choose to stick with my much older AOC monitor though, i can atleast probably get some money from reselling my acer monitor used. As i don't think i could sell my AOC monitor for anything at all really, given how old it is (2012 i think). I do know that my PC can't handle a lot of new titles at 1440p at high settings, but it's still a quality of life i want for watching movies, and for 'future-prepping', as i plan on building a new pc within a years time. Sorry for the long post, and thanks in advance for the help :)
