  1. I’m glad to have helped ^^
  2. Try out iFunbox. I’ve been using it for years now and it’s been great. http://www.i-funbox.com/
  3. That's actually the reason why I can't purchase one. And like you said, what would stop me from buying a fully-built AR and then converting it into a pistol? Laws may be lax here in the US, but a lot of them don't make any sense at all.
  4. It makes me sad hearing about everyone buying AR-15 lowers and I can't get one since alphabet soup says no fun allowed with their weird laws (can't buy one since I'm not 21 but yet I can buy a fully built AR-15 without trouble)
  5. Thanks for the answers guys! Looks like I'm going to try and get a new mobo and CPU combo asap
  6. If you buy from Jet using a promo code, you can get one for <$400. I just bought an Asus Strix 1070 for $390 off of Jet today. https://jet.com/product/GeForce-GTX1070-8GB-ROG/4deb7dde596344b88b786167089a980b
  7. After working a ton this summer, I finally saved up my pennies to buy some upgrades for my current PC. I'm currently rocking an AMD FX-6300 and a GTX 760 in my PC. I just recently purchased a GTX 1070 to replace the 760 and I am definitely wanting to purchase a new CPU to go along with it. I keep hearing about how both Intel's Kaby Lake and AMD's Zen (in limited quantities) should be out by the end of this year, but I really want to have a new CPU now. I am primarily going to be gaming on this computer, but I would do other work as well such as programming in an IDE. I also don't care too much about overclocking, but I wouldn't mind having the option to do so along with multi-GPU setups. I personally feel like gaming performance won't be much better between these three (but certainly way better than my current FX-6300), but the thing holding me back from purchasing Sky Lake right now is the potential new features and performance boosts in other aspects that I might miss out on when the newer architectures release. Would waiting for these two really be worth it or should I go ahead and just buy Sky Lake?
  8. Well I finally caved in and bought the muzzle device with my gift card. I honestly couldn't think of anything else to buy with it. I got it installed and noticed a huge improvement in flash hiding and a little bit more of a muzzle flip in comparison to the old muzzle device. But hey, now my CETME bayonet properly fits! I also took my friend from Canada out shooting last weekend. This was the first time he ever shot anything and he absolutely loved it!
  9. I have a $50 Brownells card lying on my desk and I don't know what to buy with it since just about everything I could buy on their site for G3/CETME stuff, I can find much cheaper elsewhere. I was thinking of a YHM Phantom 5C2 Comp/Flash Suppressor in .308, but my brother thinks it's a bit unnecessary and I kind of agree with him (only thought of this muzzle device since it's literally the only item I can find here worth buying with my card). Help.
  10. I managed to snatch up an HK metal bipod last week from RTG for an amazing price. I'm even surprised they still have these in stock after they got a bunch of them last month.
  11. This makes me so happy. Having to share 300GB a month with four people total in the house (including me) is really a bit of a pain.
  12. Right now I am having a hard time finding good .308/7.62NATO for the price. It seems like the only cheap stuff I can find is Tula. The ZQI ammo I used to buy all of the time is next to near impossible to find anywhere. I'm actually really mad at myself for not buying that stuff in bulk earlier this year before it became unobtainium about a month ago. Talk about timing, SGAmmo just got more ZQI 7.62NATO in stock. Time to stock up!
  13. The roller-delayed blowback mechanism is extremely reliable. But, if you are ever thinking about reloading, the PTR-91 wouldn't be a wise choice since brass gets mangled up from extraction. My C308 uses the exact same mechanism as this is what the brass usually looks like: If you can't stomach the price of .308 ammo, you can get a PTR-32. They accept most standard AK mags and are chambered in 7.62x39 But honestly at that point, you might as well buy an actual AK if you plan on shooting 7.62x39
  14. Dunno much about the other two, but PTR-91's are mighty fine rifles with lifetime warranty on internal parts. Now is a pretty good time to buy one too since they're now shipping with a paddle mag-release. A lot of surplus G3 stuff is super cheap and readily available. Magazines for those can be had for ~$3. I bought 10 of them last year for $36 after shipping. If you check Bud's Gun Shop, they have the GI model pop up for ~$750. I've seen it go as low as $690 from there.
  15. ULTRA NECRO-POST My new furniture came in today for my rifle WARNING LARGE IMAGES
  16. Damn, I don't know if I should buy another 760 to add to my current one to run in SLI. $100 for a B-stock 760 is pretty good.
  17. I guess the closest thing to having Fiber here in Nashville is wearing the free shirts Google sent out
  18. iOS user here, you can turn off location services for each app individually or just turn it off as a whole This has been a feature for a while now. I have always set Facebook to never use my location since I have no need for it to. I only have it enabled for apps that actually do require it. I have the latest version of Facebook on my phone and I haven't noticed a single bit of significant battery loss because I turned location services off for it. Facebook just needs to tell their users to turn off location services until their app is fixed. But we know that won't happen. EDIT: Damn, someone beat me to it with a better explanation.
  19. It's a CETME/G3 hybrid of some sort. Bolt, sights, cocking tube cap, trigger pack, and buffer are CETME. Mags, furniture, and basically everything else is either H&K surplus or brand new parts made by PTR. I can see where you might have confused it for an FN FAL since the little tab on what appears to be the gas tube (it's actually just a cocking tube) is a bayonet lug rather than the adjustable gas dial on the FN FAL. But what do both guns have in common? Both fire real fuckin' NATO. Fun fact for those who don't know about the CETME, the CETME is actually the predecessor to the G3. A lot of people think the CETME was a knock-off of the G3 and vice versa, but that simply isn't true.
  20. Definitely Gran Turismo and JJBA All Star Battle. I was about to say a good chunk of classic GameCub and Wii games I used to play, but I realized Dolphin solves most of that.
  21. I was looking for a thread like this a while ago. I thought I had to start one myself. Here's what I got This is so wrong it hurts
