  1. It's shame plenty of people are just deflecting and instead of judging the facts presented in front of them, are instead pointing the finger back at GN. No channel is perfect and Steve is surely aware there are problems on his side as well, that doesn't invalidate the facts he presented about LTT/LMG videos. So instead of pointing your anger at him, just reflect on what you were made aware of. I speak for myself as well, as I mainly watch LTT videos, we have to be able to get out of the bubble, not be a fan boy, and at least listen to the criticism presented agaisn't the current pratices of LTT. It is honestly worrying seeing some members of the staff saying they're very rarely proud of a video they've worked on. You should take some time to reflect @LinusTech is this is really the correct approach, as having your employees feeling that way is worth the amount of videos you put out weekly. If you can prioritise quality during the development of your merch, why can't you seem to afford to do the same for your videos ? Nobody really needs 25 videos a week from you, it's self imposed goal and if you can't do it in a sustainable way, then perhaps it shouldn't be done at all ( said from a guy with absolutely no knowledge about having a YT channel, just my honest opinion ) Will definetely continuing watching the channel as I've done for many years for the time being, as I believe the issues will be addressed and the processes adapted where needed.
  2. Ok I was not aware that it couldn't support a specification below 3.1, thank you for your explanation, now it all makes sense.
  3. I said exactly why I want it. And type c is just the connector, it does not mean I want a device with usb 3.2 or 3.1 or whatever you're thinking
  4. I am looking for an external HDD with 8TB, but I can't seem to find one that does not have the old micro usb b connector, which I would like to avoid because it is a terrible connector and type C seems to last much longer. If anyone has any advice for some good external hdd with at least 6tb or more I would appreciate. I wanted something similar to one of these Western Digital Elements Desktop External Hard Drive WD My Book Desktop
  5. Most of google services don't make money by themselves, their main purpose is to keep you on their ecosystem (Gmail, Google Youtube, Chrome, Google Keep, Docs, etc). They make money by using your data to sell ads, and they can only get your data as long as you are on their ecosystem, and the more dependent you are the more data you generate.
  6. Budget (including currency): 750 Country: PT Games, programs or workloads that it will be used for: Games, mainly single player games like AC:O, The Witcher, Sekiro, Batman Arkham Knight, and some FPS like Far Cry, Cyberpunk 2077 possibly Other details: I am thinking about building a new computer in the end of they year, after the new ryzen cpus have launched. I haven't upgraded the main components since I built my computer so at the moment I have a i5-4690k and a gtx 770. I want to upgrade to a system that is capable of playing 1440p at 144hz comfortably at highest possible graphic settings . I was hoping that the 3080 would be more than capable of achieving this but I have been seeing reviews of the 3080 and it looks to me that it won't be capable of playing most games at max settings at 1440p and 144hz. Was I being unrealistic and should I always expect to sacrifice a little on the graphics side to be able to reach 144hz ? Previously I was thinking that the 3070 would be enough ( or very close ) but now I am not even sure the 3080 could do it, so I am a little lost as I haven't upgraded in a while and never had a 144hz capable computer, I just expected it since when I built mine years ago, my 770 could run most games nearly at max settings and 60 fps, so I was expecting there had been enough gains in performance for now to be possible to achieve 144hz at 1440p easily. CPU(if relevant) : For the cpu I am considering a Ryzen 7 3800X or next gen equivalent, I think that is more than enough and I welcome the benefit that comes from the extra cores and threads outside gaming.
