  1. Yea, after extensive research I learned this. The TV does output 4k when connected atleast watching videos, I watched the Intel's Extreme Tech Upgrade videos with my girlfriend and it was CLEAR 4k. So after extensive research, I purchased and downloaded HEVC Video Extensions. I checked NVIDIA Control Panel and the Insignia TV I am using is HDCP Capable, but Idk about the 2.2. The TV is indeed HDR, and it is enabled in the windows settings. My download speed is 290.88 MBPS, I have an Intel I9 10850k and an RTX 2070, so I match those requirements. Tried in Edge and get 720p, tried the app and 1080p, I dont know what else requirements I could be missing. Edit: Also for what you said about the chromecast or TV OS, this does have that, I just wanted to be able to watch movies while working since I work at home and I wanted the sound not to be blaring through the speakers so I could just use my wireless headphones
  2. I got a 4K TV recently and wanted to hook it up to my PC to watch movies and TV. I have changed the resolution settings and such to be 4k on my PC and it looks pretty good but I noticed that the TV just base netflix looks better than on my PC, why is that? How can I fix it, and what could be causing the issue? I checked and it does use different picture settings but both are the same. I have this HDMI cable from Amazon: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07ZVCKBFL?psc=1&ref=ppx_yo2_dt_b_product_details
  3. So I am having this weird issue where my mouse (or any other mouse I use on this PC for that matter) will not click in certain windows. There are times where I cant click ANYTHING in Discord, but I can in chrome, also cant click anything on taskbar. BUT if I go into CTRL + Alt+ Delete, I can go and move my mouse over the options and then click cancel and then my mouse starts to work again. I have tried different ports, and different mice, unplugged Keyboard and others and tried to use it and it not work WHATSOEVER but when I hit CTRL + Alt + Del it will magically work again for a little bit. No Idea what is causing this issue or how to permanently fix it, hoping you guys/gals will have more info on how I could fix this issue permanently. Because it is now starting to effect work since I work from home.
  4. Internet went out due to winter storm, but I wasnt getting any freezing as of yet but lately when also downloading games through steam it starts to lag so I took a screenshot here
  5. I will take a look into the HDD activity, and thank you for looking into media and playback
  6. There are a few games like Cyberpunk loaded up on SSD but most are installed on HDD. The only things running in the background are like.... MSI Stuff, Razer, Origin which I closed, ICUE, and Xbox stuff which I dont know why that is running. But I will say after playing Doom for a bit there were no freezes or stuttering, just the occassional little blip that was like a single frame, and that was happening every once in a while. My main thing is the PC freezing when watching media, like Disney+ and youtube.
  7. Thank you, I will try, I ended up uninstalling Modern Warfare and just playing Doom Eternal right now and am not experiencing much issues, I am using Ultra Nightmare Performance Metrics and every once in a while on the lines for FPS, TOTAL, CPU, GPU, the lines will all be green and then there will be a red line across all three and the numbers for the CPU and GPU at the top will go red.
  8. The last couple of days I have noticed on my rig that it has been stuttering on my PC and freezing, I would move my mouse around and it would freeze along with the video. I launched Warzone earlier because I was just testing it out and seeing how it was and I got periodic freezes, but getting about 130FPS Ultra everything. I then closed the game and tried Doom Eternal, and it isnt as bad but it is freezing in that too. I want some recommendations as to what I should do and how to find out what the problem is i9 10850k RTX 2070 Corsair Vengeance Pro RGB V2 32GB DDR3 3600 ram 4TB HDD 500GB SSD MPG Z490 Gaming Plus I have also updated GPU Drivers, Bios, defragged HDD through Defragment and Optimize Drives on Windows 10, and also set my power plan to Ultimate Performance. Using MSI Dragon Center, CPU Temp is 50c and GPU usage with jump to about 98-96% and then drop to 40-60 and then back up.
  9. Update on my situation, I finally figured it out and fixed it. I plugged my ram in the 2nd and 4th slot, then shorted JBAT1 with a screwdriver and it posted so all is good now!
  10. So I tried individual sticks and each ramp slot, and even tried my old ram, individually in each slot alternating when it wouldn't post, and still having issues
  11. so, a few months back my PC broke and I decided to make me a new pc because I couldn't find out the issue, I made another post on it because I used the same ram to try and upgrade my old system and it wouldn't post, and then when I installed the old stuff it wouldn't post still. I built a new pc and I'm using an MSI z490 gaming plus motherboard, and I'm using Corsair Vengeance RGB 32 gig 3600 MHz ram, I built this new pc and it posted just fine. I have my roommate helping me put some stuff away after building and they said something came up on the monitor about RAM and wrong channel but I came back in and it instantly went away and started to install Windows period and I looked in the ram channels and they're both in the right place first channel and third channel. Everything was working fine, I installed steam Discord and the works, and then I decided to restart my PC, now the dram light is on , and my my manual for my motherboard does not say anything about that other than saying that there was a failure or there's a fault with the ram.I tried just one stick of ran in the second channel, I reseeded the ram, I put it in the third and fourth channel. It still will not post and the dram light is on, also it will power off and on after I turn it on at first
  12. I honestly don't know. I'm a little bit clueless.
  13. I will try reseating it again, that's RGB and it's lighting up and everything so I don't know if that is it or not. I kind of do want to get a new pc though because my current motherboard doesn't have much room to upgrade, only up to a i9 9900k and seeing how there's a new socket type I'm kind of assuming that until will keep this new socket for a little bit and get the major transaction out of the way
  14. yeah, that's what I'm thinking about doing is probably just building a whole new system. I can afford it in about a month's time and have it built by the time cyberpunk comes out. My hopes is to give my graphics card to a friend of mine and possibly donate the PC to PC parts place near me or give it to a friend of mine
  15. I am at work too, and I will be for another 8 hours LOL but I will look after, I'm about to say screw it and just build me an entire new pc LOL
  16. I've reseated the ram a few times, and my motherboard is not beeping at me. It has these LEDs for troubleshooting, and it keeps flashing dram and CPU. The problem is it flashes this almost all the time so I don't know if that is telling me something or not.
  17. About a week ago my computer started to get a little slow, and I reinstalled windows and that didnt help at all. So my last paycheck I got me some new Memory, Corsair Vengeance Pro 2x32 3600mhz ram, a 500 gig SSD, and a 4 TB HDD, before I just had a HDD hence me getting a SSD. The thing is, I installed the new hardware today after making a boot drive and it wouldnt post. I tried putting in the ram again in different slots, I tried to unplug each new drive I got individually and change out sata cables, and then I just wanted to see for troubleshooting reasons, what would happen if I just went with my old HDD and Ram, and it didnt post, and I am kinda clueless, any suggestions? i5 9600k RTX 2070 16gb DDR4 2800 ram Windows 10 600W PSU MSI Z390 Gaming Plus Mobo 1TB HDD (Build beforehand) Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
