I replaced my i5 9600k with a i7 9700k i have a z370 prime. Whenever i start to boot up windows it either freezes with the windows logo, says preparing automatic repair and freezes or i get a blue screen that says no acessible boot device. I have already changed back to the i5 and my pc works. The bios is up to date.

windows works with the other cpu so i dont think its the drive.

I installed a i7 9700k and replaced a i5 9600k do i need to update bios? I have a asus motherboard z370 and it says by bios version in 0409

i cant get in to windows or safe mode. It just loads for a minute then says it had no accessible boot device. is there a way to update from bios

what drivers should i be updating?

I had a i5 9600k and i installed a new i7 9700k but i get and error message saying "inaccesable boot device" sometimes it says repairing but freezes. I have an ASUS Prime Z370-A II and have win 10 downloaded on a ssd and my games on a hard drive
