  1. Found it! Was able to get it to boot up with the gpu installed while running off the iGPU, installed the nvidia drivers then just plugged the cable into the 970 and it works!
  2. I was looking for that in the BIOS but can not seem to find it. Do you know where in the ASUS TUF z490 BIOS I can make that change? There is nothing in the manual.
  3. Hi everyone, the build I just completed below is below, I built it in prep for the RTX 3080. After building and booting it up running on integrated graphics every thing is working fine and works with my LG 38 ultra wide I picked up from Costco. Unfortunately it’s probably going to be a while until I get my hands on a 3080 so I put in my ancient gtx 970 and now my screen is just blank. It’s still booting correctly, as the only q-leds lighting up at the top of the strip are the green and white one, which don’t have any label next to them, and they were lighting up back before I added the gpu and everything was working fine. I know that there is power getting to the GPU as it is lighting up and the fans are running. Curious as to what I can do to fix this issue and get my gtx970 to work properly.
