  1. I have a Ryzen 3900X but the B450 motherboard from Asrock didnt work even when I updated the Bios to the latest version. So Im looking at these two Motherboards: Gigabyte B550M DS3H https://www.microcenter.com/product/625149/gigabyte-b550m-ds3h-amd-am4-matx-motherboard ASRock B550M Pro4 https://www.microcenter.com/product/625305/asrock-b550m-pro4-amd-am4-matx-motherboard Will these two be any good?
  2. I currently have a RX 5700XT that I use to play on a 1080p Freesync 75hz monitor. Should I keep it for another year or two as soon as the prices for the RTX 3070 and AMD RDNA2 cards go down? My current card plays my games right now at 60+ FPS. It just that others have been telling me that the games a couple of years from now will require Raytracing and the 5700XT will not run those games that require it.
  3. I have this PSU that I bought at Microcenter 3 days ago. Thermaltake Toughpower Grand RGB 650 Watts 80 Plus Gold ATX Fully Modular Power Supply https://www.microcenter.com/product/473991/Toughpower_Grand_RGB_650_Watts_80_Plus_Gold_ATX_Fully_Modular_Power_Supply I have put a new build consisting a: Ryzen 2600X with Stock Wrait Spire Cooler XFX RX 5700XT 2x 16Gb 3200 DDR4 Ram Kit 1x 120Gb 2.5" SSD 1x 1000Gb Nvme SSD Gigabyte B550M DS3H AMD AM4 mATX Motherboard 4x 120mm LED Fans So I have everything installed, but when I press the start button on the case, the PC wont power on. Everything, CPU Fan, LED Fans and the PSU does not turn on. Whenever I press the Power Button on case or short the 2 power pins on the Motherboard, I hear a short buzzing sound. It kinda sounds like it might be electricity. But when I unplug the 8 and 6 pin connector from the GPU. I turn the computer on the same as above and it turns on. The LED fan lights come on, the CPU fan turns on and the PSU turns on as the Fans are spinning. But whenever I plug in my 5700XT to the PSU, it just wont turn on, then the buzzing or faint electric buzz sound happens when I short the Power pins on mobo then I try the power button on the case and it wont turn on and I hear that sound again from the PSU. I know that the PSU and GPU are working because I tried it with my older system and it boots up and POST and I am able to login into my Windows 10 64bit machine, with a i5 6400, I forgot the name of the motherboard tho. I dont know what is happening as I tried to troubleshoot this for an entire day yesterday and I am starting to think that I need to return all of the build to Microcenter as I purchased it 3 days ago. And start from scratch again.
  4. Every time I connect my graphics cards the PSU makes two short buzzing sounds. I tried putting my 5700xt and 5600 xt and the system won’t boot and like I said the PSU makes two short buzzing sounds. Its a Power spec 650w 80+ Gold and a Thermaltake Toughpower RGB 650w 80+ Gold.
  5. Since they’re both price similarly at Microcenter, which one should I pick out? Im gaming on a R5 2600X at 1080p 75fps. My monitor is also freesync but 2060 also has ray tracing.
  6. Ryzen 2600X Gigabyte B550M DS3H mobo 16gb DDR 4 3200 Thermaltake Toughpower Grand RGB 650 W 1x Nvme Ssd 1000gb 1x 2.5 Ssd 120gb XFX RX 5700Xt My problem is that my PC won’t power on when the gpu is connected by the 8 pin and 6 pin connectors to PSU. When connected every time I press the power button on my Case it doesn’t power on. Also at the same time as pressing the power I hear 1 Buzzing sound. My pc will turn on when I I disconnect the 8 and 6 pin connectors. I bought this gpu on February of this year and worked with this same pc. It’s just that today I upgraded my PSU. Didn’t work with the new PSU and plugging in the old one also won’t boot When the gpu is connected. Can someone help cuz I use this pc for school and we are in distance learning now due to COVID. All I have is my phone and tablet.
  7. I have this PSU that I bought a couple of days ago. https://www.thermaltakeusa.com/toughpower-grand-rgb-650w-gold-full-modular.html Toughpower Grand RGB 650W Gold Full Modular PS-TPG-0650FPCGUS-R The rest of my system is a: Ryzen 3600XT MSI B550 MAG Tomahawk AMD AM4 ATX Motherboard 2x 8Gb DDR4 3200 1x NVme 1000Gb SSD 2x Seagate BarraCuda 2TB 7200RPM SATA III 6Gb/s 1x 2.5 480Gb SSD I have a 240MM Radiator to power my CPU as well. I forgot what its called though. Also the PSU I purchased is a Teir A right? I think I seen it on a list.
  8. When would you need 32Gb? I keep hearing about future proofing as in the next several years the recommended for games would be 32Gb.
  9. They are only $20 difference at Microcenter. Very likely to pair it with either a RTX 3080 or 3070. At 1080p 120Hz gaming.
  10. I get confused when people say different sizes should or couldnt work together? But this is the RAM https://www.newegg.com/corsair-16gb-288-pin-ddr4-sdram/p/N82E16820236670 I already have 1 8Gb stick and looking to install 16Gb of the very same ram but its 16Gb.
  11. https://www.microcenter.com/product/621991/gskill-750-watt-80-plus-gold-atx-fully-modular-power-supply Found this at Microcenter, Upgrading from a PowerSpec 650W 80+ Gold PSU also from Microcenter. Need a new PSU for a RTX 3070.
  12. I bought my PSU on August 2018, it is a PowerSpec 650 Watt 80+ Gold rated for my gaming PC. Will I need to upgrade it now? It still works, with my 2600X Stock and 5700XT. In the last 5 months I even had it on 24/7 from AFK Black Desert Online and had not had any problems.
  13. Its real nice GPU, Im just afraid that on launch October 15th, there will be nothing left in stock like like how the 3080 was sold out everywhere on launch yesterday.
  14. I actually have only a 1080p 75Hz monitor for the last two years, But looking to get a 1080p 144Hz or 120Hz monitor. Will I be okay with just a Ryzen 3600? Looking to run games at Very High settings.
