  1. Okay so hear me out, My laptop was perfect and as I intended to lock to CPU frequency to max when plugged in and it worked perfectly until one day when I by mistake restored the power settings. Could someone please help me lock the CPU frequency to max when plugged in as otherwise my games are also lagging. My current Processor performance is this but it still doesn't work.
  2. Hi, I own a ASUS Vivobook S15U Laptop with a Intel Core i5-8250U and a Nvidia MX 150 GPU. I mostly use the laptop at home for watching videos, few games, browsing the web etc. I have set the battery max limit to 60% and keep it mostly pugged in but sometimes when I unplug it and use it the whole system lags a lot and hiccups . I checked the Task Manager and noticed a strange behavior, the CPU frequency stays at 3.4Ghz for a few seconds and then drops down to 0.40Ghz for a few seconds and this then continues until I plug it again for a brief moment. I checked the CPU temps and it was around 70-85 C .Sorry I couldn't take screenshot of the Task Manager as I was not able to recreate the problem before writing this. I would like to know why does it do so and if anyone else faced this. Thanks for your Time!
  3. How is it that I can distinguish between a 4K Video and a 1080p video , say on Youtube but my Monitor is only 1080p and cannot physically display all the pixels on screen. Same is the case while recording a 4K video on my phone which looks way more detailed than the 1080p Video.
  4. Just had a question about how a adblock effects content creators. For example ,I use the brave browser which has a in build adblocker and use it mainly to watch youtube ad free. I just wonder if Youtube serves a ad to me and its just the browser which blocks it, so youtube still thinks I was served the ad and pays accordingly to the content creator or is it that youtube just does not serve a ad to me. I also use Youtube vanced on my android mobile. It offers all the features as Youtube premium does such as background play, downloads and picture in picture. Is it that it just spoofs youtube to thinking I am a Premium member and pays the according rate to the content creator or is it otherwise. Thanks for your time.
  5. I own a one year ASUS Vivobook s15. It has a Intel core i5-8250U and 8GB RAM. From the very beginning the ram usage on the machine was almost half even on a restart, even though there was nothing consuming RAM in Task Manager At first I thought it could be a Windows thing but even after receiving a few updates its still the same. I took this screenshot after a fresh restart of the PC. Please Help!
  6. As far as I know Whatsapp is a free application with no Ads in the app and no premium purchase or in app purchases for that matter. I just don't know how does Whatsapp make money. I don't think Whatsapp would be a loss making company for Facebook.
  7. I have learnt that OLED TV are self lit and each pixel is self lit, while LCD TVs are backlit. But while looking for a new TV I saw TVs branded as "LED". Does this mean "LED" is the backlight technology. If this is so then is "LCD" branding is dead.
  8. I am a Noob at computer building or computer hardware. I play PUBG LITE PC casually for a hour or two. I play it on my laptop with a MX150 graphics card. While playing I randomly opened task manager and saw my Integrated graphics card sitting at 90% while my Nvidia one was at 0%. I don't know what to do to fix the problem. Please help!
