  1. Thanks was always a fan of the clean black & white PC build. I actually only bought the Gigabyte vision OC 3080 because it was the only one I could order but I think it fits the build perfectly.
  2. Hey check out: https://www.pcworld.com/article/3597305/amd-radeon-rx-6800-rx-6800-xt-3440x1440-ultrawide-benchmarks.html Both cards are great options at 3440x1440p, I also use an ultrawide and have an RTX 3080 but wanted that more for creating some raytraced renders and CAD work than its gaming performance. I'd say for most people right now, the decision is driven by stock and urgency(do you need a card asap?) rather than preference.
  3. Hey just wanted to post some pics and info on my first build in a while. I guess many of you are probably looking at something similar so I'll post some benchmarks, thermals and noise levels a bit later. Currently really happy with the build after only using a 1660 laptop for a year... so a big improvement! Specs & PC part picker list: PCPartPicker Part List: https://pcpartpicker.com/list/rPbgnL CPU: AMD Ryzen 7 5800X 3.8 GHz 8-Core Processor CPU Cooler: Noctua NH-U12S chromax.black 55 CFM CPU Cooler Motherboard: MSI MAG X570 TOMAHAWK WIFI ATX AM4 Motherboard Memory: Corsair Vengeance RGB Pro 32 GB (2 x 16 GB) DDR4-3200 CL16 Memory Storage: Crucial P2 1 TB M.2-2280 NVME Solid State Drive Storage: Seagate Barracuda 2 TB 3.5" 7200RPM Internal Hard Drive Video Card: Gigabyte GeForce RTX 3080 10 GB Vision OC Video Card Case: be quiet! Note on pics :The RAM LEDs were showing up really bright on my camera (S10e) so had to turn them off for the photos. Improvements if I had more cash or availability is a lot better where you're from (also in recommended order with estimated price increase): 1. Faster memory, 4 x 8Gb DDR4 3866 MHz ; + €100 2. 850W and a more efficient PSU, +€50 3. All SSD storage, + €220 4. Noctua NH-D15 CPU cooler (although I prefer the NH U12s for aesthetics and get decent thermals (37-40°C @ Idle) ) ; +€40
  4. Yeah guys, I just decided to be patient and use my 1660Ti Laptop until December. I don´t expect Ryzen 4000 CPUs to be available this year anyway...

Other details : Already have a 3440x1440 100Hz Gsync display. Just want some opinions or improvements my build on PC part picker. Not sure if I should go with a better motherboard or beefier PSU. I know I should wait for Ryzen 4000 but I would like to build the PC this October and I´m happy with the performance of the Ryzen 3700X. Although If I cant get a 3080 due to stock limits I´ll probably be forced to wait for Ryzen 4000
