  1. Hi guys, So I seem to have a weird problem. Everytime I boot my pc I have to go into the bios to manually boot my windows m.2 drive. I have put it as priority number 1 so that isnt the problem. I have also updated my BIOS incase that wouldve been the problem. But none if it fixed it. I even went as far as reseting the CMOS. But none of it seemed to work. At this point I got tired of it and just started booting manually. But I mean its not supposed to work like that. Its an entire new pc and it should just work normally! I also thought it gave me a problem with my GPU. This for the reason that yesterday I updated windows and that caused a d6 error that had me reset the CMOS again. On a weird way everytime I seem to update windows it gives me a D6 error and I have to reset my CMOS again. Im using a asus strix z490e motherboard and a i9-10900k As gpu im still using a 1080 (F for my 3080 that is yet to be shipped) If more info is needed feel free to ask!
  2. Just a little update! I got windows to work and got the the full installation etc.. I started installing drivers and therefore I had to restart my pc. Problem is it shows me the American Megatrends screen again. And the only way to get to windows is to press the button to boot the M.2 on itself
  3. Hi guys! This is my first time on the forum! I somehow couldn't find anything on the web for this problem so I hoped you guys here could help me! Ive build my own pc for the second time and everything went great with the build. Everything is being seen so that was a plus. So I started to install Windows on my m.2 SAMSUNG SSD 970 eve 1tb. This also went according to plan. But when it went for the restart It boots my pc up again and shows the American Megatrends screen again as shown in the picture. So I checked. The m.2 is recognised as a boot priority card and its called windows boot manager(name of the m.2) now. But somehow it doesn't start windows. Now the first time I installed I left the usb in when it did the restart. So I read you are supposed to remove it when it goes into countdown. So I tried installing again and did that. But somehow it still won't boot windows. Im using a z490e Motherboard and a i9 10900k as CPU if you guys need more information be free to ask! I hope someone can help me! IMG_7216.HEIC IMG_7217.HEIC
