Hi. I’ve been experiencing issues with my laptop stuttering after installing an ssd. The supposed fix was switching to Standard SATA AHCI Controller, but now my laptop wont boot up. The DELL logo shows, the loading icon is spinning, but it won’t let me in.
However, I was let in once somehow. Trying to boot up showed this screen “your computer cant start” or something. That screen gave me the option between a restart, and some options. I went restart and I got into my laptop just fine, no stuttering. Device manager showed the driver as Standard SATA AHCI Controller. Later checking the logs in BIOS it says “ASF2 Force off.”
Any help with this?
