  1. As outlined already, OP, you really should try to have at least one exhaust fan and one intake, if nothing else. However, fans aren't that expensive and, depending on your case and components, it may be worth waiting until you can install more cooling options.
  2. Forget, Warzone, that game is dead. I just wondered if I can actually play MW mp.
  3. I'm not really interested in Warzone, it's principally the multiplayer component of MW I want. The issue isn't me downloading it, as I said, it's whether I can actually play once I have it downloaded.
  4. So, just a quick one, guys. I've tried Googling this but I don't get any real answer. It is regarding the battle net version of CoD MW (2019). I don't own the game on BN, and yet the option is there to download it. I am slightly confused, as I have not bought it even though I can install it. Is it possible I might download it only to get into the game and find out I have to pay, or that maybe it's a trial There's nothing to suggest it's a trial so I don't know what to think. I suppose I could just download it and take a chance, but it's a big install and I don't want to waste my time on it if it won't end up actually letting me play - especially as I could be downloading something else in it its place. Any thoughts, would be greatly appreciated.
  5. OP, did you say this was happening intermittently? I asked because, I thought it was a problem with your monitor, when I first saw the pictures. But, it's definitely not that, is it?
  6. How do you know the data you are being shown is actually related to the card you are wanting to buy?
  7. Well, no, if you are saying the 4070 is the most important factor then it would be more like a higher end system. Besides, nobody who knows what they are doing is going to have an i9 14900k, 64gb of high speed DDR5 RAM, and then stick a 3050 in it. So, the build as a whole will usually be at or around the level of the GPU.
  8. I saw the 4070, I was referring to the specific post where the person suggested a 3050 would qualify as mid tier.
  9. You think a pc with a 3050 is "high end"? It's solidly mid tier...and the lower end at that. To me, anything below a 2060 is low end, anything between that and a 3070 is mid, anything up to a 4080 is high end, and the 4090 is in a separate category of its own. Obviously, you have stuff which is then at the lower or higher end of their particular group. I mean, a 3080 is low high, whilst a 4080(s) is high high (for want of a better term, as clumsy as it is). Anyway, my point being a 3050 doesn't constitute a high end GPU.
  10. None of those pc components are worth buying. The PS4 is still a surprisingly good little console, with a huge back catalogue. If at all possible, try to find a PS4 pro for the same money. You'll need ps plus anyway if you want to play online and having it will give you access to some really good games to get you started.
  11. You decided to call it off? I'll be honest, you were losing out...so I'm glad you've reconsidered.
  12. But, this is about a 2060 and the advantage DLSS gives it over a 1080, and the fact is newer games are becoming increasingly difficult to run without DLSS. I know this, because I had a 2060 for nearly 4 years and just recently upgraded to a 4080 and games that I can run without DLSS on that card were struggling to hit 30fps on the 20 series offering. That difficulty in running newer games is only going to increase, and having the option to turn on a setting like DLSS is going to be important for a lot of people on older hardware.
  13. Perhaps, if gets you to 30? I don't think 30fps is playable anymore, but some do - and if DLSS can get them from 17fps to 30 it may well save the experience for them.
  14. OMG!!!! WAYCISSS!!!!!! NZXT users are human beings too!!! This kind of bigotwy and waycism is unacceptable!!!!!
  15. Yeah, but if gaming were a factor you'd have no choice but to turn on DLSS in most AAA titles... something the 1080 can't do. The cooling and VRAM are fair points, but neither are so far ahead or so much better that it is much of a factor. Ultimately, I'd take the newer card with the most options available for me as gamer...but that's just me. In other words, as a Fortnite players he's getting the better end of the deal...in my opinion. P.S I don't have any experience of DLSS looking "awful". Even so, does it look as bad as 17 FPS in modern games because you can't turn it on?
  16. Agreed, it has less VRAM, but even that is outweighed by the ability to turn on DLSS...but then you say you rarely use it. Of course, going forward you might. Personally, I'd rather have the 2060 but that's just my personal opinion.
  17. No, your 20 series will allow you to take advantage of DLSS, which will negate any performance advantage the 1080 may have. Put simply, the 2060 is a more versatile card today because of that.
  18. I'd say just forget it, start afresh completely... everything new.
  19. I mean, that does sound odd. Could it be a case of your personal rig simply being better? You have a better MB, CPU, better RAM, a faster SSD, all of which might contribute to a smoother experience.
  20. Oh,, well that's good to know. Thank you, for your help and advice.
  21. I get what you mean...makes sense. So, it's a decent drive and I shouldn't worry about it?
  22. Thank you, for your patience. I understand the difference now, cheers, mate.
  23. Ah, ok, I appreciate your advice and the clarification around the difference between MB and Mb.
