Budget (including currency): $1100 Country: United States Games, programs or workloads that it will be used for: Primarily video games and college Other details My brother is graduating from high school soon and I want to build him a PC for around $1100. The only thing I want to make sure from this PC is that it can run modern games at ultra or near that at 1080p. If anybody has any recommendations I would greatly appreciate it!

so should i just save up my money and buy the vive pro? is the difference in resolution that much?! -
I was planning on getting the htc vive pro just for the resolution, but is it a big enough jump to buy it or should i just purchase a used htc vive in my local area for a lot less? Is the resolution really that big of a difference or is the htc vive fine enough to play vr games casually?

No, I did a little more troubleshooting and I concluded that the motherboard may have been shocked so I sent it in for a return, thanks!

My PC won't start up at all, the motherboard has lights that glow on it when i turn on the power supply but when I press the power button on the case it won't turn on. I already tried plugging and unplugging the front panel cables a million times but I just don't know what the issue could be, I need help, big time.

I have another computer to put the RTX 2070 in so it wont be a complete loss, I'm just a little impatient right now with the possibility of an instant sell out
-
Ok so should i just get the rtx 2070 for now and wait until the rtx 3080 is readily available?

I'm currently on 1080p but i plan to upgrade to 1440p 144hz and play on vr with the valve index so i want to hit that 120hz in the index.

Should I buy a RTX 2070 Super for $350 in my area or wait to buy a RTX 3070 Later in October? The reason I ask this is because I'm skeptical based on the previous 3080 and 3090 launch, The RTX 3070 caused a bunch of RTX cards to sell for dirt cheap due to the RTX 3070 beating the RTX 2080ti. I don't know if i should skip out on upgrading my 750ti in hopes of getting a RTX 3070 or just purchase a now cheap RTX 2070 Super for $350 now and just wait till next year to upgrade to the 3070. I'm conflicted right now and I don't want to miss out on these RTX 2070's being sold for cheap in my area and then miss out on the 3070 because it sells out in seconds, What should i do?

As of two months ago I've been trying to sell my laptop to pay for my college tuition, the only people i attracted where scammers and low ballers.I reduced the price as much as i possibly could so that i could still pay off this semesters tuition but still nothing. I've been trying to sell on craigslist and offer up, I even tried ebay but I didn't know what i was doing there. I just want to know where good safe places i can go to sell my laptop withing the next week or so before my tuition deadline is over and I have to resort to loans. The laptop I'm selling is a Dell G7 17.3" With an i7-9750H and an RTX 2060 for $1000, if anybody could help me find somewhere to sell this i would highly appreciate because i just do not know where.
