I'm planning to upgrade my GPU soon, when I can snipe a deal on a 4080 tier card. However, for the majority of the games I play, such as WoW and PoE, the 7800x3d will indeed significantly increase my minimum fps. It's true that the 5800x3d was under consideration, but I wanted to perform a platform upgrade. When I purchase the GPU, I will also buy a new PSU. The only question was whether the Revolution D.F. can handle the current configuration (Ryzen 7 7800x3d and 3060ti gaming oc pro).

Hey folks, i currently have a Ryzen 5 3600 and an RTX 3060ti Gaming OC Pro, powered by a REVOLUTION D.F. 650W unit. Is this unit sufficient for an upgrade to a Ryzen 7 7800x3d? I'm not sure if I can trust all those PSU calculators out there, and when I sum up the TDP of the individual components, I should be well under 650W and within the efficiency curve. I basically just want to double-check if I've overlooked any crucial detail.

Looking for a M.2 NVMe SSD 1TB with cache for max 120€
Whusthat replied to Whusthat's topic in Storage Devices

As the descibes im looking for a SSD 1TB m.2 nvme with cache ofc. The samsung ones look pretty good but also seem a bit pricy. What are good other options? I mainly want to run windows on it and game storage.

So 1 month ago i got a Asus TUF VG 249Q but i wanst home till last week so i could not check the screen for dead pixels or BLB or IPS-Glow. After i got home i did some testings => Results : - No DeadPixel - BLB left bottom and top - and corner ips-glow Photo taken: ios-250 - 40 % Brightness - 80% Contrast (looks abit worse on img than reality) if i know this what an avg VG 249Q looks like in terms of glow and BLB im happy to keep it. Im just not sure how does it look for you guys ? should i go through all that RMA stress to get maybe an even worse panel or deadpixel. how is your opinion about ASUS RMA's in generell ? anyone with feedback ?

Am i lifting the GPU too much ? GPU support bracket.
Whusthat replied to Whusthat's topic in Graphics Cards
yeah i feel you ... im sure its not the fan in my case its either the plastic that sits between fan and heatsink ( has to much clearance) or somehow the shroud itself. if the vision oc is similar to the gaming oc pro in terms of power pin placement it will get hard to find waterblocks for it. Thats atleast what the der8auer says in his review. But good luck tho And thx for you replys guys ... i will leave it that way for now should be fine -
Am i lifting the GPU too much ? GPU support bracket.
Whusthat replied to Whusthat's topic in Graphics Cards
you know what i mean -
Yo guys ... so i bought a gpu support bracket for my gigabyte 3060 ti gaming oc pro. I do not suffer from gpu sack but there is a common issue with the shroud making some noise under the vibration from the fans. I could just rma the card but lets be real it will takes ages and i dont have another gpu currently. So i read about a fix where you just have to lift the card up slightly, i tried it and it works. my only concern is that it is lifting the card too much up. It might sound silly depending on the fact that i rly just lift the card about 1-2 mm but better safe than sorry right ? I uploaded a video. What do you guys think ?

RIght? You would think they thaught about that

Hey im currently playing POE and i noticed that my GPU Fans toggle every 1min between on and off. I know its the ZERO RPM mode and while gaming less demanding games it will happen all the time. The question is how bad is it for the lifespan of the fans ? Cheers

Happy New Year everyone and hello, 1 month ago i purchased the RTX 3060 ti Gaming OC Pro and im pretty happy with the card and the fact that i got one :) The Card has coil whine but thats another story and it does not bother me cause i play with a headset that has some good noise reduction. But yesterday i realized when the card under load (games) and the fans start hit a certain RPM range the card will also rattle. That also is not that loud and i wont hear it as long as i wear my headset but im afraid of breaking something on the card. I checked for loose cables and made sure every fan is spinning. Looked all good. Doing a RMA is rly the last thing i wanne do ... i mean people reported it takes month to get cards back during the current situations. I gonne put 2 audiofiles here: Its basicly only the coil whine you can hear when playing (frequenz changes depending on where i have my camera ingame, in this sample i did not move the camera) https://voca.ro/1grpKLUh2nPM 2. Thats the rattle that kicks in under load (games) and certain RPM mostly above 1500 RPM https://voca.ro/16wFvGaUHwpZ I tested it without load and adjusted the fan speed with MSI Afterburner and the sound was still present but went away after 1min. I know people had fan rattle stuff in the past with gigabyte cards ... should i worry about the health of the card or does anyone have a fix i can try out ? RMA is currently like i said before, the last instance.

so i checked some reviews and they seem all pretty good ... based on availability here in germany the "enermax revolution" would be my choice. what would you get the Seasonic Focus gx or the enermax revolution ? or does it rly not matter at this point ? and i pick the prettiest one
