Hi, I'm looking to build a value oriented video editing rig for 500 - 700AUD. Which parts would offer a considerable performance increase and what should I look for in a CPU, more cores/higher base clock?
Under load it would never go above 70C and that's with the fans at relatively low RPM but the room it's in can get quite warm. I was considering water-cooling my PC but if I couldn't get any extra performance from my GPU I wasn't going to bother.
Definitely, no complaint about the performance was only concerned that I couldn't overclock it but if it's approaching the limit for pascal cards anyway I'm not too worried.
So its possible to get a card that doesn't overclock at all? Even a 10Mhz increase crashes under load. The card is second hand but the previous owner claimed he'd never tried overclocking it.
I recently purchased an AORUS 1080ti Extreme 11GB GPU and I am unable to achieve a stable overclock on even the smallest increase to memory or core clock causing my MSI Kombustor and Unigine to crash.
Hi, I am looking at purchasing a used PC to use purely for stream encoding to Twitch as a secondary to my gaming PC. Would an i5 2400 @ 3.1Ghz and 4GB RAM be enough for this?
I'm assembling a used system atm the moment and wondering if a 500W Coolermaster MWE is enough to power a GTX760 Windforce Card and a Ryzen 1300X?
EDIT: It says it's 80 Plus White Certified
Hi, I am building a workstation for another person and admittedly don't know too much about parts selection for a workstation. My main issue is what would be the best value GPU to get for StonePro which is essentially a CAD software?
I recently purchased the AORUS 1080ti EXTREME 11GB GPU second hand. I can't overclock the GPU at all as all overclocks are unstable and cause the system to crash under load.
Is this just bad luck or could it be the result of the GPU being used for mining?
