optiplexs went up in value because of all those videos about the optiplex being good for gaming but something like the hp compaq 8300 which has a 3rd gen i7 is really good and a lot cheaper
Honestly if I was in the same situation (btw i have the exact same case in the blackout variant) what I would do is just keep the define r5 and if anything just take a file to the side of the server rack where each u screws in since it seems that its just rubbing enough to wear off the paint on the case.
yes memory management can be both storage or memory. you can also check your virtual memory limit in windows since too low or too high can cause bsod but in my case when i was having the same issue it was simply a sata cable
ive never used one personally but they are known in the mining community for melting mining rigs. If you wanted a good cheap psu for mining get a used server psu a breakout board and a pico unit for the mobo/cpu
when i was having this issue with my xeon i tried playing with the ram and in the end it ended up being a bad sata cable so that might also be a place to check.
i want 650w since my pc currently should have 550 but i have some stuff taken out and undervolted to save power since ive only got 500 and i would like to eventually upgrade some more
i dont know but i need more than 550 watts since thats what my pc uses evga has a 650 that looks pretty good for my price range so i might get that, is this a good psu https://www.evga.com/products/product.aspx?pn=220-B5-0650-V1
