  1. This is me with my first gpu cpu and motherboard, even the hard drive even though i spun that little guy into his grave but I plan to use all my original parts until they are dead except my psu which i plan to replace before then. But everything is there all the memories, all the time i spent on it and all id have to do is reconnect everything since im still using my orignal case, psu, ram, etc itd all feel the same. But at the same time ive considered selling all my original parts to my close friends so that they too can enjoy gaming for the first time but I am still on the fence.
  2. that might be possible try unplugging your spare drives and leave just the ssd then see if the problem persists
  3. yes memory management can be both storage or memory. you can also check your virtual memory limit in windows since too low or too high can cause bsod but in my case when i was having the same issue it was simply a sata cable
  4. ive never used one personally but they are known in the mining community for melting mining rigs. If you wanted a good cheap psu for mining get a used server psu a breakout board and a pico unit for the mobo/cpu
  5. did you look to see if everything is plugged in correctly and cables are pushed in all the way
  6. when i was having this issue with my xeon i tried playing with the ram and in the end it ended up being a bad sata cable so that might also be a place to check.
  7. the super flower is out my price range im trying to spend under 90 or less max since i want to buy more storage as well
  8. i want 650w since my pc currently should have 550 but i have some stuff taken out and undervolted to save power since ive only got 500 and i would like to eventually upgrade some more
  9. the b5 is in low priority but tier b low priority so it might be fine since my pc is "mid tier"
  10. i dont know but i need more than 550 watts since thats what my pc uses evga has a 650 that looks pretty good for my price range so i might get that, is this a good psu https://www.evga.com/products/product.aspx?pn=220-B5-0650-V1
  11. can you link me one thats better for $85 preferably fully modular but at least semi and i used evga psu calculator and they said around 550w used so i need around 650 or more
  12. can you link me a few to look at since i also need semi or full modular do to the case i have
  13. my specs are as follows Xeon w3550 @ 3.6ghz 24gb 1600mhz ddr3 ram asus p6t evga gtx 970 sc 500gb ssd 1tb ssd bunch of fans I can only spend up to $85 on a power supply
  14. I did the same thing, I mixed ram from 2015 2017 and 2019 with no issues
