  1. No, it's firmly attached and the temps never rise above 65+
  2. I bought a 2x8 kit of memory It was on special on day I made the purchased, actually bought it 15$ dollars off Yeah lol, I didn't think the storage would matter long as it had a lot of space. Guess it did lol
  3. So for some reason my games have had noticeable decline of FPS. When I first put together this PC (Not too long ago), everything has been running smoothly and loading pretty quickly but over time, my games that ran easily with 200+ FPS are now at a minimum 160 and sometimes can take a nosedive to 60 or 40. My guess is my missing BOOT, causing latency and the only thing I have for storage is a Seagate Barracuda Compute 2 TB 3.5" 7200RPM Internal Hard Drive . Been looking up online for a good SSD for sale but before I make the purchase I wanna make sure it's the source of my problem and not something else. Any help or advice would be greatly appreciated Here are my PC parts just in case: PCPartPicker Part List Type Item Price CPU AMD Ryzen 5 3600X 3.8 GHz 6-Core Processor $208.99 @ Amazon Motherboard MSI MAG B550 TOMAHAWK ATX AM4 Motherboard $179.99 @ Newegg Memory G.Skill Ripjaws V 8 GB (1 x 8 GB) DDR4-3600 CL19 Memory $31.99 @ Newegg Memory G.Skill Ripjaws V 8 GB (1 x 8 GB) DDR4-3600 CL19 Memory $31.99 @ Newegg Storage Seagate Barracuda Compute 2 TB 3.5" 7200RPM Internal Hard Drive $54.99 @ Newegg Video Card MSI GeForce RTX 2070 SUPER 8 GB GAMING X Video Card $549.99 @ Newegg Case Fractal Design Meshify C ATX Mid Tower Case $97.98 @ Newegg Power Supply Thermaltake Toughpower GX1 600 W 80+ Gold Certified ATX Power Supply $84.99 @ Newegg Prices include shipping, taxes, rebates, and discounts Total $1240.91 Generated by PCPartPicker 2020-09-02 20:51 EDT-0400
  4. Man, I am livid. Pain. Literally the day before i made the purchase for my first gaming pc build which included a msi rtx 2070 super, Nvidia announces the 3070 series which is undoubtedly better and cheaper than the msi. Thinking of refunding it and waiting a month to get the 3070, but then i thought “would my build even handle the gpu?” So should i refund the msi or do i need a better build to not bottleneck it?
