  1. Hello, I am looking to upgrade my current rig for 1440p gaming at 144hz. Id like to keep as much as I can but I'm thinking there will be quite the overhaul. I am currently running: CORSAIR TX-M Series TX650M CP-9020132-NA 650W ATX12V v2.4 / EPS 2.92 80 PLUS GOLD Certified Semi-Modular Active PFC ... G.SKILL Ripjaws V Series 16GB (2 x 8GB) 288-Pin DDR4 SDRAM DDR4 3600 (PC4 28800) Intel XMP 2.0 Desktop Memory Model ... MSI B450 TOMAHAWK MAX AM4 AMD B450 SATA 6Gb/s ATX AMD Motherboard Phanteks Eclipse P400A PH-EC400ATG_BK01 Black Steel / Tempered Glass ATX Mid Tower Computer Case MSI Radeon RX 5600 XT DirectX 12 RX 5600 XT GAMING MX 6GB 192-Bit GDDR6 PCI Express 4.0 HDCP Ready Video Card Ryzen 5 3600 6 - core 3.6gh I have a m.2 installed as well as 2 ssd's, but may need to replace one or add a secondary m.2. I do also have a few more case fans just to keep the air moving in there. No worries on peripherals, but possible monitor recommendations would be lovely. Any suggestions and recommendations would be great, as I have a passing knowledge on components but haven't been keeping up with the market and new stuff as of lately. Budget (including currency): 1000 USD Country: USA Games, programs or workloads that it will be used for: Gaming (tarkov, destiny 2, various other games), Autodesk services, excel, general construction applications and schoolwork. Other details (existing parts lists, whether any peripherals are needed, what you're upgrading from, when you're going to buy, what resolution and refresh rate you want to play at, etc):
  2. i went to try and was unable to find anything in bios to fix the problem. I am also realizing, that I when i uninstalled it form device manager, it should of automatically reinstalled, and that didnt happen. Im beginning to suspect it is a hardware issue. Ive watched numerous videos and done everything said and nothing has fixed it.
  3. Hi all, I have an ASUS ROG G14 model GA401QM. Yesterday I went to use my computer and found that my Wifi was not working. Since then, I have tried to revert to a backup, uninstalled and reinstalled the drivers, downloaded new drivers, and restarted the PC. Nothing is fixing the problem. Since uninstalling the drivers, I cant even find the hardware showing up in device manager or system information. Any advice on how to fix the problem or should I just buy a new wifi card? I was debating opening up the laptop and just pulling it out and putting it back in. If your advice is to buy a new card, any suggestions? Thank you.
  4. why is it that im only using 40% of both gpu and cpu tho?
  5. I have had my system for around 8 months now. When it was new, i would run valorant at a pretty constant 250+ fps and would even peak into the 300 range. Now playing with the same settings, im averaging 180 to 200. I know its not bad but the change in fps is concerning me. I have a Ryzen 5 3600, Radeon rx 5600 xt, 16 gb ddr4 3600 ram. I also run at 144 hz and have 2 monitors.
  6. Radeon rx 5600xt, and a Ryzen 3600, 16 gigs of ddr4 3600 ram. i know the game isnt very demanding im just wondering why i wouldnt be getting better fps
  7. So I'm currently playing valorant. I downloaded software to see how my computer was running and I'm wondering why I'm only hovering around 200 fps when my gpu and cpu aren't using more than 50% of their capacity. I know its not a bad thing bc my monitor is only 144 hz, but I'm wondering why I don't see closer to 300 fps like i used to. I'm not maxing out ram either
  8. btw i am running windows 64bit and I have a 650 watt psu and a B450 max motherboard. All drivers and bios seem up to date from what I can find.
  9. So I recently build my computer and all was going well. Its an Ryzen 5 3600 with a RX 5600xt and 3600 DDR4 ram. Everything was working fine until last evening I went to mute my computer using my Ducky one 2 keyboard. Its a 60% keyboard so i had to do Fn + ,< key to mute it. I did this while valorant was opened and then it suddenly white screened on me. I said whatever after I rebooted the computer and it seemed to be ok. Today I went to go play valorant and it loaded up like normal, but when it loaded and I clicked on it for the first time (like the big play button) it white screened and only turning my computer off and back on would fix it. I reinstalled the game, checked to make sure I was using the right graphics and anything else I could think of. It was working just fine yesterday. The only other solution i can think of us to reset windows 10. Any suggestions or help would really be appreciated.
  10. i dont necessarily need cheep cheep. I see that it does well in stuff like CS GO but as soon as you try a BR or something larger it starts to fall short. I know its quite a bit more but the 1660s seems to fill the void
  11. why would it be a bit excessive, especially since the RX 6700 promises to be even more
  12. i am unfamiliar with that card and how it would preform? also it would probably be a while since i could get a 3000 and if i even just decided to scrap that idea would it still hold up for heavier loads for the distant future?
