  1. You just wrote down the exact same outdated information as any other website I went to for help. I KNOW HOW TO BURN AN ISO TO USB. I did that 12 times, with different ISO files. I USED A USB 2.0 PORT. Also I do not have any other drives plugged in, like I said I only have one m.2 drive inside my pc. I do not have another one, no external HDD or SSD.
  2. I did that already, twice in fact! I opened the command prompt in troubleshoot. Still got the same error message...
  3. Yes, but I saw something similar to this already. However when I read further, they all used the '2018' version of Windows. There is no 2018 version on the official Microsoft website, they just have a '2020' version now. There is no option to pick anything else: https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/software-download/windows10ISO It is frustrating because all the guides are old and based on older files. I cannot find anything that actually worked.
  4. I spent 2 days dealing with this, time is not a problem. I just want to get this done. I appreciate your help!
  5. Ok, thank you. I booted back into Pop Os. I am ready.
  6. Will this media creation tool work on Linux Pop os?
  7. Will the media tool work on Pop OS? I do not have access to another computer, so I have boot my pc back into Pop OS to do things. Pop OS takes 2 minutes to setup.
  8. Wait, do I need to do this even if I have no extra storage installed? I only have one m.2 SSD installed in my system.
  9. I do not know what that is, this is what I did. I downloaded the ISO file from the Microsoft website, it asked me to 'pick' a version. There was only one version. Picked 'windows 10', picked language and chose 64bit. Burned it straight on to my USB.
  10. How do I put it on my usb drive? Do I burn it on my USB too?
  11. I downloaded the ISO file from Microsoft several times, on my phone and on my PC. I will try a different USB now and see. Wish me luck
  12. So I recently built a new gaming PC, I was happily using Linux Pop Os but sadly certain games I want to play were inaccessible on Linux. So I want to install windows on my PC, I got my boot drive setup. Download file from official Microsoft website. 64bit ISO file successfully burned on to a usb 3.0 stick. However when I plugged it in my system, everything was fine till I try to install windows. 'A media driver your computer needs is missing...' I looked online for fixes, I tired sticking the usb in a USB 2.0 port (No luck). This is extremely frustrating to deal with, online 'fixes' are pretty outdated or repeating same things. So I come here in hopes to find a fix. Please help.
  13. Thank you for the suggestion, but a few questions. I like the case I choose because of its small a portable size, do you know the exact dimensions of the graphics card? Also I saw there are people saying they need a 2nd gen chip just to update the bios on that board. So I swapped out the B450i for B550i motherboard. Lastly is the power supply reliable? I saw a couple complaints about it on Amazon. Thank you.
  14. I did not want to use a Intel chip, because the mini-itx intel motherboard either supports LGA 1151 or LGA 1200. If I want to upgrade my system to newer CPUs then I need to buy a completely new motherboard. I could solve the problem by getting a 10th gen motherboard but the 10th gen chips are expensive and the i5 10th gen will work but it only has 6 cores. So that is why I am building a AMD based system for the price, also I was thinking of using a 5 3600X instead of the ryzen 7 2600X because it is the same price right now, but is there a big difference between the 6 core and 8 core?
  15. I did not plan that, it just happened the corsair parts were the cheapest for me to buy. Also I do not plan on upgrading this system, so trying to get it semi beastly so I do need to waste money in the future upgrading it and throwing out old parts.
  16. Ok, thank you. I just wanted to make sure this is the right size to fit in my case. (Silverstone 0.8mm ML05B)
  17. Budget (including currency): 1500 Canadian dollars Country: Canada Ryzen 7 2700X, Zotac GTX 1660 Super 6gb Twin fan (173mm) MSI B450I plus gaming AC, Noctua NH L9a AM4 37mm, Corsair vengeance 2x16gb 3200mhz ram, Corsair force series 480gb SSD Nvme m.2, Corsair SF series 600W gold + Silverstone 0.8mm ML05B 7 litre case I want to play watch dogs 2 mainly, but I also want something that can run triple AAA games. So I do not feel left out. I do not care about RGB at all and I just want a small and portable Mini PC I can move around with. I may do some video editing on it but I doubt I will do it very often. I picked these PC parts because their the cheapest available to me on Amazon Canada that has very little compromises. I want to buy everything through amazon because it is and mostly reliable. The other websites seems a little too sketchy for my liking. Please let me know if there is anything I can get that is better bang for my buck.
  18. MSI B450I gaming plus AC, online it said it is under 200mm but the description on Amazon says otherwise. Did they miss type or is this a different version of the motherboard? Is there another version of this motherboard?
  19. 450W 80+ gold corsair SFX psu and 600W 80+ gold corsair psu is what I am looking at the moment. There is a 60 dollar difference in price, so asking to see. If I can save the money, I could just buy the 450W psu.
  20. Looking at 600W 80+ gold corsair SFX psu right now.
  21. Well, right now I have a 600W 80+ gold corsair psu selected. So should I stay with my 600W psu then?
  22. I got about a $100 to $120 budget for psu and I live in Canada. I have a 600W corsair 80+ gold psu selected, but trying to see if I can save a bit more money and go with a 450W corsair 80+ gold psu.
  23. I am building a mini-itx build, only going to add 2 additional fans and no RGB.
