  1. The 2019 RM650 had a 140mm fan. There is a new revision of the rm650 which has a 120mm fan now. Probably the same used in the RMe ones.
  2. The RM650 was not available anymore so I picked the RM750e, but I can still change it. Just have to wait a bit.
  3. How is a RM650 better than RM750e? Can you explain?
  4. Well I just found and bought a Corsair RM750e for 95$. That should be an even better option
  5. The be quiet psu would be more future proof I guess? That ATX3.0 standard could be handy in future upgrades. And it can handle gpus with up to 300 watts power usage. The 6800 is rated at max 250W. In this case the be quiet seems the better choice or is the corsair still the better choice with the 650W but ATX2.53 standard?
  6. Hi, I am planning to upgrade my GPU to a rx 6800 with a 5600x. I have 2 PSU options: 1. Corsair RM650 2. Be quiet pure power 12m 550W Both are the same price. I was tending towards the corsair due to 100 watts more power. But the be quite is ATX3.0 and therefore should be fine with my combination despite the 550 watt rating. Which one should I choose?
  7. Yeah, I am using adrenaline. Never used something else.
  8. Hi all, my RX580 was able to run stable at 1350 mHz and 1050 mV (1150 mV is stock value). Since few weeks I am not able to do any changes to the stock values. The system immediately crashes even if I just underclock or undervolt it very slightly (to 1130 mV eg.). I used DDU to completely reinstall graphics driver and reinstalled chipset drivers as well but no luck. Does anyone have a clue what the issue could be?
  9. Thank you very much. The Chipset driver for Windows 8 solved my problem and now with activating high performance mode it runs with up to 2,56Ghz.
  10. There is only balanced and energy saving mode, no high performance. You are right with the drivers being available for windows 8. i didnt know that and just checked windows 10 but not 8 . Will try out those ones. Lets hope that fixes my problem especially with that chipset driver.
  11. Hi, my dad uses his old Asus s300ca but complains about it getting really slow sometimes. Its has an i5 3337u and a hdd but i already bought a crucial mx500 to swap it out. The biggest problem is that this cpu has two tdps: 14W at 0.8Ghz an 17W at 1.8Ghz If i go into energy settings it is actually set to 17W but still runs only at 0,8Ghz, thus being extremely slow. I had a trick to change that by going into energy saving mode and then going back to balanced mode. But now it’s completely stuck at 0,8Ghz. Does anyone know what i can do? Temperatures are fine and windows 10 is newly installed with no extra drivers besides what Windows updates installed on its own. I dont see any drivers for this laptop at asus website. thanks in advance
  12. that sounds great! will give ubuntu a shot and see how it works out
  13. I have two systems where i regularly switch between and work with(amd pc and intel laptop) and just purchased a portable ssd to use it between them. Is it possible to create a bootable drive and use it on two different pcs? Like installing ubuntu on it and switch between the two systems? I have concernes regarding driver issues and other incompatibilities. What would you recommend me to do? Is there a way to clone one pc to another or something like that as i really dont think one drive two pcs will work at all. Thanks in advance.
  14. I finally did it It runs now at 2933mhz. The problem was that my Bios did screw up the timings everytime i enabled the xmp profile. Instead of 16-18-18-36 it was always automatically set to 15-15-15-35 even if it was supposed to change it to cl16. I managed to get it work by doing an cmos reset and just manually typing in those timings.
