  1. I have an old alienware x51 r2 and would like to upgrade and build my own pc. However money is tight so I was wondering if in the mean time if i could buy a new case, motherboar, cpu and ssd into the new case. And use the gtx 760 that is in the alienware for now until i can find and get a 3050 or 3060. Basically upgrade little by little inside a new case. Is this a good idea? If so anybody have any suggestion on pieces and compatability? will my old gpu work on a more modern motherboard? Current pc specs are cpu: intel i7 4770 ram:8 gigs gpu: gtx 760 budget: not sure still new to all this. but about 500 to transfer what i can to new case, cpu, motherboard, and ssd.
