About Apollyon2020

  1. What are the issues so far that you've heard?
  2. When are the 3090 cards coming out? If they're already out now, looks like the Strix is sold out lol.
  3. At this point, hopefully I can get my hands on a 3090 period. It would be nice to get my hands on the EVGA FTW3 3090... but if I can't get my hands on it... Hopefully the Asus ROG Strix 3090 will be perfect. Again, that's if I can get my hands on any of them lol. My guess stock will be available tomorrow morning? 10 EST?
  4. ZOTAC any good? https://www.newegg.ca/zotac-geforce-rtx-3090-zt-a30900d-10p/p/N82E16814500503?Description=3090&cm_re=3090-_-14-500-503-_-Product I'm really hoping that FTW3 comes out on Newegg.ca before tomorrow...
  5. It's a shame, just checked Newegg.ca for the FTW card. Newegg.ca is only listening the 3080... hmmm
  6. What's everyone's thoughts on EVGA's 3090 FTW cards? I assume the massive RGB strip is programmable? I've never owned a EVGA FTW card, they worth the $$? I'm stuck with this card, or ASUS ROG Strix GeForce RTX 3090. Not sure which 1 is better...
  7. Opps, my apologies. I thought I did lol. Glad to know my PSU is has the cables. Thanks
  8. Hey guys I'm using Corsair HX1000i. I haven't checked the box to see what other cables are in there. I assume there is more PCI-E cables in there considering how much I paid for this PSU lol
  9. From the photos I've seen, it's going to require 3, 8 pin PCI-E power cables? Or did I see it wrong. If so, I guess I'll have to find my PSU box and grab another PCI-E power cable. Unless Asus is supplying a power cable connecting to those 3 power connections to 1 single cable? Any help would be greatly appreciated Thanks
  10. Good to know. Well I guess cleaning the surrounding area with isopropyl alcohol is pretty much useless lol. If any of the isopropyl got under the thermal pads, it shouldn't effect it right? Considering how quick the alcohol dries.
  11. If it's normal, then I'm cool with it. Just never had this before and thought it was some 'MSI' thing. Same way how EVGA's thermal pads leak. Wasn't sure about VRMs doing this. Anyhow, no worries and thanks for clearing it up.
  12. I have googled it, and nothing really comes up. Clearly why I came here to ask. Considering someone on here must of seen this issue, or have experienced it themselves. Maybe it's minor to you, but not for me. I don't understand why you had the need to post a comment if your intent wasn't a positive one. Anyways, thanks.
  13. Yeah my board is a MSI MEG Z390 ACE. Cleaning around the tiny heatsinks for the VRMs shouldn't ruin the thermal pads right? I'm at the point of giving up to clean it to be honest lol. Cleaned it last time, and it just came back anyway lol. I know isoproply alcohol cleans off thermal paste, just not sure on how thermal pads behave. Would it be an issue if some of that alcohol found it's way under the vrm heatsinks or thermal pad? Considering how quick alcohol dries lol.
  14. Unless it's flux like what you said? Why 2 years later and now it shows itself? It beats me lol...
