  1. While this may not be the most "proper" way to test a keyswitch it will still give someone who has never typed on a mechanical keyboard some idea of what they are about to get themselves into.
  2. I was recently looking for some keycaps for my keyboard when i found this handy kit which includes all of the switch types and some rubber o-rings to dampen the bottoming out sound. Figured it may be a reasonable way for someone to "test" all of the different switch types if they don't have access to a computer store that stocks mechanical keyboards. http://www.wasdkeyboards.com/index.php/products/sampler-kit-1.html
  3. Found D-Link DIR-657 HD Media Router 1000 for fairly cheap. Is it a very good for for what I need. Honestly just throwing it out there because its like 50% off. http://microcenter.com/product/366660/DIR-657_HD_Media_Router_1000
  4. I know I do not have fiber and I think it is cable but I'm not 100% sure, where could I check that. Also I would be using at least one of the LAN ports at l time, maybe 3 max when I would hae my laptop in my room. does this look like a good option for the sub $100 price point? http://microcenter.com/product/247107/DIR-655_Xtreme_N_Gigabit_Router
  5. I am looking into getting a router for myself mainly for gaming purposes and in the future for use in college dorms. I currently have AT&T U-Verse with the standard residential gateway (2wire 3800HGV-B) but I would like to have a router behind that for my xbox and gaming pc. As for the price range I am trying to stay sub $100 and preferably be able to get the router from microcenter because I have a giftcard there. Any input is appreciated and I am willing to answer anything that may be able to help determine what is best.
