  1. It’s not really the same thing... it’s just an update of what’s going on...
  2. So uhh I replaced my motherboard because it was broken... I found my issue I was using an Extension it was a 3rd party extension and it melted and broke... I took it out my motherboard... the plastic piece of my 24 pin broke a little bit is my Motherboard okay?? And can I still use it with no hazards I got rid of my Old powersupply and my extension
  3. The Faulty smell was the Powersupply! I’ll be sure to replace it soon
  4. 1. It’s a RX460. 2. I will clean the front fan soon. 3. I have a Cheap powersupply which is not always the best thing to cheap out on but I had no choice. 4. yes, it smells like cheap plastic when I open up the case. 5. I tried turning it for about 5 minutes and nothing happened, I need to look further with that one the smell just got worse...
  5. It is a NZXT H510 and I have the stock fans on them, my CPU fan also had the same problem just now which I am using the AMD Spire I do have a clear fan on the front which barely does anything... I mean it could also be the dust... but I don’t think that much dust can completely melt a Fan
  6. So as we all know Watch dogs 2 is free I have it all at low settings and out of no where I can smell cheap plastic it was coming out of my pc case and it was overheating... 1 hour later the CPU fan and Case fans start having trouble keeping up so they stop I turned off my pc and now don’t know what to do...
  7. I have to turn off the powersupply because my computer freezes the Power button freezes if that makes sense. Do you know any softwares that I can use to see CPU temps?
  8. My specs My Powersupply is just named “Power” 420w I can give the model number. my GPU is a RX 460 (Never Overclocked) My Motherboard is a GIGABYTE GA-A320M-S2H my CPU is a Ryzen 5 1600 I had my motherboard for a couple months nothing occurred so I don’t really think it’s the mobo.
  9. So my computer has been acting strange like my Graphics card is always crashing sometimes my pc restarts without me doing anything, it randomly powers off, all the fans stop working... Is this my powersupply causing these problems... I just need answers before my PSU finally gives up completely. I highly think it’s my Psu as it’s really cheap it came from a pre built it was given to me by a friend, I had the psu for a year now...
  10. This came with my power supply I will be upgrading soon because its not a trustworthy brand can anyone tell me what is that cable used for I am very confused... I am new to PC building, don’t know very much about psu’s. It has 4 pins so I am assuming its a Fan header
  11. My friend has a stripped screw on his Heatsink Rubber bands were not effective... its also really tight, I am suprised the CPU did not break... its kind of stripped, all the screws look diffrent he only took out 1 screw.
