  1. Seems like it's the same thing as the Windows Phone app, this stuff is awesome and useful.
  2. You can install Adobe CC on two computers so no need to choose
  3. Finally... this was wanted for a long time. This was right the first time. They fixed everything and Google went back with "not html5" (aka we really do not want to see your platform alive) which was in itself a really bad reason. Although it is kinda ironic since WP8.1 has a better YouTube experience than my Nexus 5 with 3rd parties app like myTube.
  4. I never understood OneNote... and then I went to university. I'd say SP3 are popular here because of this software.
  5. Yup, http://www.windowscentral.com/file-explorer-windows-10-phone-video-tour Better than the current "File" app for sure... Seems like the multiple-device one-experience is a real feature this time...
  6. The office app has it's ribbon at bottom... but I didn't see a lot of pivot. The new File Explorer seems great though if it's what we can expect from Win10 apps on phone (what is this version called, WP10 or Windows Mobile 10 or Windows 10 for phone?).
  7. Nice, hoping they don't butcher the UI too much though... it was great to use as a one-handed phone with a lot of swiping and bottom menu-buttons. That being said, it's still early builds, we'll see where it goes I sometime miss the efficiency of WP8 with my Nexus 5, but then I remember the "mainstream" apps which are never updated (but it does have way better youtube apps). I'd go back to it as my daily driver otherwise. Using my Nexus made me realize why everything can be customized on Android... you need to.
  8. Not a reason to pirate the said software, especially being a corporation... To be fair, I don't find CC for 20$/month (there's also 10$/month Photoshop/Lightroom) that expensive and they make good software. IMHO, it could be cheaper, but usually people who pay it have a need for it and free software can be as good for people who do not want to pay; their products being targeted at prosumers and professionals.
  9. Because K10 was probably at its limit given how much R&D was spent on Bulldozer (which was supposed to land earlier). AMD does not have the R&D of Intel so it can't focus on two CPUs architecture at once and they certainly wouldn't be able to make a quick switch like Intel did from Netburst (Pentium IV) to Pentium III-like architecture (Core 2 Duo).
  10. Yes, this is a good clock for Haswell and the 5820k (which might be binned in the wrong way) giving you a little better than a 4790k in single/low-threaded applications and much better if you like vms & multitasking. I don't think you'll see a difference after 4ghz with Haswell other than in benchmarks As for the fluctuating clock, you want this. There's no advantages to running it 100% clock all-the-volt when browsing the interwebz. It will save you on power/heat/noise given how efficient at idle Haswell is. Enjoy the chip and maybe try to aim for 4,5Ghz because you can?
  11. XFX did a few coolers revision I think. My friend had a 7970 xfire (both 7970 from XFX) and one was saying "7900 series" and the other "7970", he was not happy But yes, I'd think it's legit. You see that a lot when the PCB is the same with EK backplates (the 7900s / 7800s, etc.) IIRC. Best way to test is to fire up GPU-Z tbh or/and run some benchmarks, numbers won't lie.
  12. RIP MSN... may the wizz that once brought annoyance be a source of nostalgia. Otherwise not a lot to miss, maybe iPod Classic
  13. I'd say you probably got the most out of your chip @ 1.5V... I hit a wall at 4,8Ghz with my FX-8350 and it wouldn't let me pass it even with a custom waterloop and added voltage. What I'd suggest you is optimizing your overclock by ocing the CPU-NB. While it doesn't give a boost as big as the Deneb/Thubans (Phenom II), northbridge ocing still gives nice results (especially with memory bandwith IIRC). Try to aim at 2800Mhz if you are able to (again, it's been a long time, but I think a CPU NB VID is fine up to 1.35ish volts, probably safer to look it up). You COULD try to fiddle with FSB/HTT (basically the base clock), but be warned that it'll affect every clock in the system. TL;DR FX chips seems to have a difficulty ocing beyond a certain point and I think you've reached it; you'd be better to try to OC things like the CPU-NB or fine tune the FSB/HTT clocks but I'm not sure if there's much to do...
  14. If you have the money : Asus X99s. My Deluxe has been rock solid since september with a 5820K @ 4,6Ghz 1.28V. Haven't had a single crash/blue screen since I installed this mb / clean OS install. This thing is just working compared to my Z87X-UD4H where Gigabyte software would once in a while make everything go BSOD and fan control is just awesome on the Asus boards. I guess it comes down to luck with the Asus though seeing Newegg's reviews. But if it works, it just works.
  15. Haven't they had package managers for years with NuGet? It was mainly for Visual Studio but still... it was built-in powershell since a long time IIRC. EDIT : Apparently it's new for desktop powershell, sorry
