  1. It is enabled. The SSD is installed on the lower slot which i read goes through the x570 chipset instead of the CPU itself, but it shouldn't make a difference on this board (that's what i read). Rest of my system is a Ryzen 5 3600 and a 2070 Super with 8x2 3600 Mhz Corsair LPX RAM. I tried switching the M." Slot from GEN4 to GEN3 but it didn't help with the write speed's. Probably have to try the Slot near to the CPU, but there is no heatsink so I'm worried about the SSD running hot. This is my CrystalDiskMark benchmark. Something doesn't add up there. It's not that the drive doesn't work well but I'm very curious why i don't get the speed that's advertised.
  2. Hey guys, recently got a new rig and decided to go with a PCIe gen 4 Firecuda 520 500GB as a windows drive cause it was on sale. I am using it on an ASUS x570 TUF on the second slot because that slot comes with a heatsink. So i started benchmarking the thing with CrystalDiskMark and the Samsung benchmark. It showed normal read speeds but the write speed caps out at around 500mb/s in both tests. Usually for the 500 GB version of this SSD the write speed should be at least 2,5 GB/s, so 500 MB/s makes me wonder what could be wrong. Anyone have an idea? Would be appreciated. Also, please excuse errors, I'm from Germany.
