  1. Thanks again Khadas for sponsoring today’s video! Save $100 on Khadas Mind using coupon code LTTMIND on Khadas.com and Aliexpress. Purchase Khadas Mind from Khadas.com: https://www.khadas.com/mind Purchase Khadas Mind from Aliexpress: https://s.click.aliexpress.com/e/_oF7auvO *Coupon code valid on Khadas.com and Aliexpress, valid until end of April 2024. This thing makes the Mac Mini look gigantic! And don’t even get us started on how big your full tower gaming rig is. The Khadas Mind is a tiny workstation that has big plans. On top of containing a 12-core Intel processor this thing will be able to dock with an RTX 4060 Ti using their new-fangled Mind Connector! The only thing in their way? That pesky PCIe standard.
  2. Hey! Thanks for your comment here. DM me, and I can assist
  3. Thanks CoPilot Fitness for sponsoring today’s video! Head to https://go.mycopilot.com/LinusTechTips to get 14 days FREE with your own personal trainer. Thanks Clark's AV! - check them out at https://clarksav.com/ It's here—the biggest gaming display! It's not by Hisense, it's not Samsung's The Wall, and it utterly embarrasses my 115" TCL TV. By area, this is bigger than most IMAX screens and WAY better to game on. 4. Hey everyone. Sorry for not posting the last couple of weeks. The business team was away at CES, as well as our regular jobs on top of that, so we weren’t watching the forums as closely. But we have taken some time to look at things that have popped up over the last week or two, and we have a few follow-ups. Wicked Cushions We saw a post where a pair of Wicked Cushions earpads found themselves pretty mangled. We shared the photos with Wicked Cushions and asked for their two cents. It is a rare thing that can happen to their ear pads. If a user’s sweat has more acidity in it, it expedites the breaking down of certain materials. While it’s far from the standard, this is exactly why Wicked Cushions offers free replacements. They’re sorry that it did happen to this individual, and they strongly encourage reaching out for replacements. The process should be relatively simple. Ridge Wallet There was a post about someone being given a bit of a runaround with Ridge’s support. Emails weren’t being responded to, and support on Twitter seems just to be automated. In short, the person keeps being told to try again in 2 weeks. After two weeks pass, they’re told the same thing. This has happened a few times now. We have yet to hear back from Ridge regarding what is happening. Traditionally, we’ve seen pretty positive experiences with their support. We just wanted to say, “Hey, we see the post, and we’ll follow up.” AG1 There has been an influx of concerns surrounding AG1. Last September when we ran our first WAN Show ad with them, there were concerns about the ingredients and whether it contained lead or carcinogens. Which was addressed in a forum post here. In the talks that we’ve had with AG1, we made it clear that we didn’t want to make sweeping claims that taking it would change your life. We didn’t want to advertise it as a replacement for taking multivitamins or a dietary replacement, and that was never what AG1 intended. They simply asked to discuss why the members of our team who drink it choose to drink it and had us run with that. Nobody is saying that AG1 is going to change your life. If you want an alternative to taking vitamins, AG1 is an alternative that some of us enjoyed before starting any sponsorship deal. More concerns have been brought up since writing this; we'll follow up regarding these concerns with the brand and will address them in a future post. ASUS One benefit of CES is that we can sit down with some decision-makers and have face-to-face conversations, as we did with ASUS. ASUS has doubled their presence in the Sponsor Complaints thread, and its support team has prioritized responding to issues as quickly as possible. They will continue to be on the Forum assisting users to close out the open issues and follow-up with them on timely responses on escalations. Also, we'll be reaching out to those who have been assisted by ASUS Support to see if they are satisfied with the resolution they’ve been presented. We want to help ASUS improve because we do believe it benefits everyone in the end. We hope you all have a great week. @Other James will be back next week with another update.

Let's take a peek at what's new and if slower = better
  9. Hey! Appreciate you bringing this back up. On Nov. 5th, CUKTECH responded to their initial backers on the next steps in the event they haven't received their orders. Considering the response, I felt that the update was sufficient enough to move forward. Regarding their ToS, it's completely normal for companies to enroll you in emails when you create an account as per the FTC. As long as they disclosed it in the ToS, they're all good. With both in mind, I made the decision to move forward.
  10. After reviewing the responses, we're going to move forward with sponsorship. Funny haha name aside, the products are pretty good and work as intended. Locking the thread here
  11. Hey there, CUKTECH emailed us asking if we would be interested in sponsorship. They sell chargers and power banks similar to Anker and UGREEN. The reason they reached out was because of the "I said YES to everything… I regret it" video we published in early July. The brand sent over some of its products for us to vet internally, and we experienced no immediate issues with using their power banks and chargers. If you have purchased any products from CUKTECH, we would love to hear from you. Thanks, Geoff *Please note that our team does our own research and testing around vetting sponsor products and services. 12. Appreciate the feedback here! We'll pause on sponsorship with these guys and really dive into what's considered F2P and P2W in mobile games. Thanks again for your feedback, locking the thread
  13. Hi! TrulyOffice has reached out asking if we're interested in partnering on sponsorship. They're an alternative to Microsoft's Office suite and Google Workspace. https://trulyoffice.com/ The main appeal to TrulyOffice is that you have the choice between a subscription every month or a lifetime license, both cheaper than its competitors. As well, they're touting bank level customer data protection + GDPR compliance for enhanced data privacy. If anyone has experience with TrulyOffice, I would appreciate your insight Thanks, Geoff *Please note that our team does our own research and testing around vetting sponsor products and services. 14. Hey! Maono reached out, asking if we were interested in sponsorship. They specialize in microphones, audio interfaces, and headphones for podcasting and streaming at an affordable price. https://www.maono.com/ Full disclosure, I actually bought one of their microphones from a coworker's recommendation and because it was on sale on Amazon lol. Sounds good IMO, but I only really use it for Discord and meetings. If anyone has experience using Maono's products, I would love to hear from you! Cheers, Geoff *Please note that our team does our own research and testing around vetting sponsor products and services. 15. Hey again! Wanted to get people's thoughts on Call of War: World War 2. For the unaware, it's an F2P strategy game available on both mobile and PC set during WW2: https://www.callofwar.com/ I know Linus and some of the writers are pretty big into RTS-type games, so I thought it would be worth bringing the brand here for additional vetting before we explore this further. If you have any experience with playing Call of War: World War 2 and its gameplay mechanics with it being F2P, I would love to hear from you Cheers, Geoff *Please note that our team does our own research and testing around vetting sponsor products and services.
