  1. For anybody still looking for a solution: I don't know if it still works for every game, but Battleye accepts this. Rainbow Six Siege is currently playable.
  2. Hi together, recently BattlEye started banning people gaming via KVM on Linux, because they think that a lot of users using KVM are cheating. I created this post in hopes to raise the voice for this problem as Linus did some videos concerning KVM gaming and recently mentioned a remote "KVM service" as a sponsor. Personally, I am using Manjaro Linux with a Ryzen Threadripper 2920X and now upgraded to a RTX2070 as a GPU passthrough (GTX 1060 before). For connection to my "gaming server" I use Moonlight. Here a link with a Reddit discussion, you will find plenty of them, if you search for it: I tried to contact Ubisoft (as for example Rainbow Six Siege uses BattlEye), they really do not care and refer to BattlEye. Contacting them leads to nothing, I am not "famous" enough to get any answer from them. There are also new threads regarding VM spoofing, unfortunately I find them quite inconvenient (and they also do not seem to work) and for me removing the cpu hypervisor to partially mask the virtual machine destroys the performance in terms of fps. A full VM masking seems also to be not so easy. (I do not think somebody managed it to do this) Maybe somebody has an idea or even knows how to mask or found a way to bypass this BattlEye thing. For everybody thinking a cheater is asking for a way to use his hypervisor cheats: I really do not care about ranking, I play from time to time for fun with friends. Thank you!
