I tried to copy various YouTube Video links from, and it wouldn't copy, it would copy random letters
It has happened in only chrome, I tried it on my dad's laptop, chrome was behaving fine, can anyone tell me what's the problem? -

What you want is impossible. You cannot do a non destructive install from Windows to Linux for a multitude of reasons but mostly because Windows uses NTFS and Linux uses EXT4 meaning you have to format the entire drive, its unavoidable.
Thanks for the reply, then I'll have to install it later. Thanks BTW

How do I install Pop!_OS 20.04 LTS without losing any data whatsoever?
I have a Windows OS and wanting to install Pop OS. I have my Windows Partition on a HardDisk which is partitioned and has some files, I don't have any media to store those files in as a backup, so what should I do?

Remove said disk form its confined cage and connect it directly to PC.
If gives same errors drive is busted. If not external enclosure is busted.
(And im guessing its the last one, as all those external cases are pretty bad in quality.)I was thinking the same thing, maybe the enclosure is the problem, by the way, thanks for the solution, will try and give feedback

HDD 'Data Error (cyclic redundancy check)'
I went and grabbed my external hard disk today to get a file for a friend. So, when I plugged my Hard Disk using the USB cable, I didn't see the drive, I thought it might be a connection problem, so I disconnected and reconnected, to be noted, whenever I connected the drive, the PC would give a 'Disk Connect Sound'. So I thought that the drive must have any other problem, so I went to the DIsk Management Utility inside Windows, and then I found this.....
1. The Drive didn't have any drive letter [Image 1]
2. The Drive didn't have any type of unallocated space or allocated space marked in the drive section [Image 1]
3. Whenever I tried to Initialize Disk, with either MBR or GPT, it would say Data Error (cyclic redundancy check). [Image 2,3,4]
[I know it wasn't infected by a virus, and it wasn't any type of malware or ransomware]
So, is there anything I can do about this on my own? Please I need you guys help on this!
Details about My External Hard Disk:
Name: Transcend StoreJet 25D3 1TB
Specs: USB 3.0

Why are PC games distributed physically via CD's when the USB 3.0 Pendrive is exceptionally faster?? It should not be a problem, right??

when in doubt, don't run anything executable, scan it first.
reformat should destroy the files.
is this a sdcard? you can also upload the documents from your phone to google drive, let google scan the virus for you.
it ain't an sd card, and i didn't run any executables. and i can't format it because it says 'write protected'

I'd honestly just throw it in the trash, and get a new drive for like $5
I could just do it, but can't because I need the files
