  1. Hey! I have an issue in Warzone! Normally i can avg 110-125 FPS (which im very happy with, everything runs great) then all of a sudden my FPS drop dramatically ranging from 40-70ish fps while my GPU time goes from 4-5ms and jumps up to 15-20ms and i have no idea why this is happening. It happens after 2-3 games then i reboot the game and it works fine again. I also stream and record while playing. I just did a quick 2 game test (didnt have the time tonight to do a longer test) just to get an idea of what my system is running at while Recording and Playing. My CPU usage sits around 60-65% and my GPU usage sits around 50ish% while looting and going from place to place and will jump up to mid 70s% while in gun fights. So im not sure what causes the fps drop and stuttering. I've tried to some research and haven't found anything helpful. I have overclocked my GPU (not by much) and i've run the stress tests and all that for over 4 minutes and nothing crashed. I am running on a AMD Ryzen 7 3700x with a RTX 2070 Super, i was using Streamlabs OBS for my Streaming/Recording but have recently switched to just OBS (lower cpu usage). If you have any ideas as to why this happens please let me know!
  2. Soooooooo what would be the pros and cons for buying a 3900x vs a 3700x? I will be using the cpu to Stream/record and game all at the same time, and then i will edit and create videos as well..
  3. good question, im going to look into other coolers, maybe ones that aren't so bulky.
  4. Thanks for the suggestion. I'll look into the options.
  5. Gaming, Content creating, streaming, all of the above really..
  6. I have recently bought a prebuilt cpu from bestbuy for gaming/streaming. Not 100% happy with the guts of the cpu (yeah i know! i should have just built my own from scratch). After a few posts on this site and doing some searching i think i have landed on what i want to do, but i have some questions. The current set up i have... CPU - i7-9700F @ 3.00GHz MOBO - Gigabyte B365M DS3H GPU - RTX 2070 Super RAM - Corsair Vengeance RGB PRO 32GB running @ 2133MHz (cant change it due to the motherboard limitations in the BIOS) HDD - 1 TB The changes i am going to make CPU - Ryzen 7 3700x @ 4.4Ghz MOBO - Gigabyte x570 Aorus Elite GPU - RTX 2070 Super RAM - Corsair Vengeance RGB PRO 32GB HDD - 1 TB SSD - Samsung 970 EVO 1 TB CPU Cooling - Noctua NH-D15 I've watched (and have took apart and rebuilt cpus in the past) but i've never transferred HDDs or anything from one MOBO to another, my concern is after i move everything over will windows and all that stuff still be there? My main concern would be making sure when all the hardware and stuff was all set up and ready to go and it has a successful post, i would just be able to boot it up and it would be ready to go basically. Don't want to worry about buying Windows or anything like that.. What would be the best route for making the switch?
  7. I have done some looking around and have watched some more videos and i think im comfortable with going the Ryzen 9 3900x and the MSI MPGx570 motherboard and a Noctua NH-D15 for cpu cooling.
  8. I think im going to venture into the AMD side of things, and check out some of these newer model CPU's.
  9. My bad! Ok, thanks for the info, i'll look up some amd stuff!
  10. so it seems like the better processor/mobo set up would be an amd setup vs a intel set up?
  11. my current mobo is a gigabyte B365M DS3H
  12. I did buy a 4k Elgato capture device (which i cant use because i dont have any slots for it) in my current mobo, i planned on streaming console games too (I play a bunch of sports games haha) So yeah i kinda need a new mobo other than that everything is Good.
  13. Yeah its become pretty clear that idea was a bad one haha
  14. Hey! I have recently jumped over to PC Gaming and i have started Streaming as well on FB. I have a pretty decent set up (i would guess haha)... BUT I want to improve my in game settings and my Stream quality, both are "Good" as of right now but i would like to present a better quality stream while running higher quality in game settings (Warzone).. My current set up... CPU - i7-9700F @ 3.00GHz MOBO - Some generic Gigabyte one.. GPU - RTX 2070 Super RAM - Corsair Vengeance RGB PRO 32GB running @ 2133MHz (havent looked into how to change the bios to allow me to reach 3600MHz) I have started another thread in the Motherboard area, i was planning on buying a new MOBO (a better one with more pci slots etc etc) along with a new i9 processor and another 2070 Super to SLI it (as it seems that was a bad idea haha).. would it be worth it to upgrade my Processor and MOBO and continue using a 1 pc set up? OR buy a new processor and mobo along with building another pc for streaming and using my current CPU and mobo on what would be the streaming pc.. Not sure if i worded that right or not. Open to all feedback and suggestions, thanks for taking the time to read!
  15. So my Processor is a i7-9700F @ 3.00 , i have tried to overclock my GPU and it doesnt take alot for it to crash while trying to increase the numbers.
  16. Currently at work so I don't have access to the specifics, I will update when I get home and can share the details
  17. No it's a 9th gen i7, would it be beneficial to upgrade to a i9 and a new board?
  18. From what I've seen I thought SLI would definitely help boost the performance, but it looks like it doesn't make that much of a difference? I am streaming and playing at the same time, lately it's been all warzone. I can't get max settings and a good quality stream so I've been playing with decent in game settings to produce a better quality stream. I am aiming for the best quality I can get, it definitely seems like I need a new motherboard for sure since the one I have is so bland and basic.
  19. Hey! New to this site and CPU building. I currently have a 9th Gen Intel i7 processor with a rtx 2070 super, not sure what the motherboard is, but it only has one PCI slot. I am trying to find a new motherboard and switch everything over to that one. I would also like to buy another 2070 super and run SLI so I can have a dual card set up. Any suggestions for what I should do? If I posted in the wrong area I apologize!
