So I got a PC off of a friend and he only used it to stream off of playing through his PS4. But I'm actually using it to play PC games and stream off of. It originally comes with a i5 7400 CPU and a gtx1060 GPU, but I noticed that the graphics were not good playing modern warfare and it was all laggy. So I did research on gpu's and I ended up getting a gtx 1660 TI GPU and so I'm wanting to know if this GPU is to good for the i5 7400 CPU? Because my fps jumps up and down below 60 fps up to 80 fps but never really stays strong. I also know nothing about any of this stuff so don't be to hard on me aha.
One thing I noticed is that the graphics card has an 8 pin but my connector from my power supply was a 6 pin but it also had a separate 2 pin next to it so I combined the 2 connectors and put it in the 8 pin of the graphics card, if that made any sense? I'm just wondering if I did that correctly?
