  1. My friend who was having trouble overclocking his 3000mhz RAM said that I might have, so I was just wondering.
  2. So I was busy overclocking my Corsair Venegance LPX 3000 RAM, and I cranked the voltages up to 1.4, and managed to push 3400mhz out of the memory. I wanted to get to 3500mhz, so I set the voltages to 1.42, and managed to get 3600mhz out of the ram. I could probably push it higher, but I haven't tried yet. I'm using the stock cooling, with no ram cooler on top. Am I just getting really happy about my overclock or have I really set a new record? I can provide evidence if you guys want, just tell me what app I should screenshot.
  3. I'm actually finding that the 4th core is much hotter than the others. How can I fix this?
  4. I'm currently trying offset voltages, which are stable, but make my temps rlly high.
  5. Ok thanks. Was worried as some ppl said it might fry my CPU. However, I am gong to tweak things in the bios as I would like to get 5GHz stable.
  6. 1.42v is the average under full load (sorry should have said so)- my idle voltage jumps between 1.32 and 1.4.
  7. Hmm. I've looked, and there isn't a sync all cores option, but I guess the mobo runs ion that mode automatically- my evidence is this screenshot.
  8. I can't find an option called SVID, would it be called anything else on my mobo? P.s. My mobo doesn't have an auto-overclock button or anything, and SVID is, from what I know, something that a mobo controls.
  9. Thanks dude. I'll have a look. One thing- my mobo doesn't have an option to switch between all-core and single core mode- is that a problem?
  10. 1.42 is the peak voltage- it jumps around a lot when idle- from around 1.32-1.4, and 1.42 is the highest I've seen for a prolonged amount of time- 1.46 is the highest I've EVER seen, but that was only for around 2 seconds.
  11. Yes, I moved it into my second PCIe slot, booted my PC, then moved it back into the original slot.
  12. I'm currently using a 9600kf with a Gigabyte Z390D- and I've noticed that the CPU has a high Vcore of around 1.42v using auto voltages @ 4.8ghz. When I try to manually enter a voltage- like 1.32, my PC fails to boot into Windows. Please help!
  13. Hi Guys, I'm looking for a budget airflow ATX case with a mesh front panel. I know it's cheap, but its all I can afford. The reason why I would like one with a mesh front panel is because I have a 240mm AIO, and my current case doesn't let it draw that much air through the rad.
  14. Thanks, I managed to fix it by reseating my graphics card. Don't now how that fixed it, but it's fixed, so thats all good.
  15. Yeah they stay on for around 5 mins when my PC is idle. There don't seem to be any bios settings affecting this, but I will have another look. I've also reinstalled drivers and flashed a newer bios.
  16. I have a Gigabyte RX 570 Gaming Mi, and whenever I restart/boot/awake from sleep my PC my GPU's fans go metal. They stop doing this when I turn zero-RPM mode on and off, but its still really annoying. Can anyone help?
  17. I was wondering what mouse button response is. My mouse has a setting to switch between 12, 16,20, 24, 28 and 32ms. What's the difference?
