  1. So I don't know what is the term to explain my problem but in random times I use the laptop (It can be while gaming/normal browsing, or any laptop work), it would suddenly lagged for 1-2 seconds. The lag affected the mouse movement and the stuttering sound (to best describe it its like when you play a game and it suddenly dropped to 1 fps for a split second). This problem occurs randomly, sometimes in a session I use my laptop for a long period of time it happens sometimes its doesn't happened at all. Any idea on what causing this? If there's any more information I need to provide please feel free to ask and mention them. Thank you very much
  2. Mine is higher by 6 - 7 degrees, would it be the dust or the room temperature? And if so, do you think my current temperature is a concern that I have to fix right away or is it totally okay and will not damage anything?
  3. Currently I have the Lenovo Legion 5 (2021) Gaming Laptop. Specs are : AMD Ryzen 7 5800H (8C / 16T, 3.2 / 4.4GHz, 4MB L2 / 16MB L3) NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3060 6GB GDDR6, Boost Clock 1425 / 1702MHz, TGP 130W 2x 8GB SO-DIMM DDR4-3200 512GB SSD M.2 2280 PCIe 3.0x4 NVMe While on heavy load or when gaming, the temperature of the GPU can go up to 86 degrees celsius and the CPU can go up to 87 - 89 degrees celsius. Is this normal or should I be concerned? I have this laptop for about 8 months now and I haven't cleaned it too. My laptop is elevated, the room temperature usually around 24 degrees - 28 degrees celsius. Just an open discussion since I'm not quite sure if it is okay or not.
  4. Based on your comment, I think I should go for AMD CPU with 6 cores which my motherboard still can handle and a 3600Mhz RAM kit right? Do you think I also should change my PSU now or should I just go with a new MOBO also?
  5. Oh hi fellow Indo! I'm sorry if it was not mentioned clearly since I didn't bold the text but as you can see, that is my current specs not the parts I was trying to get! I'm looking for an upgrade while still using the same GPU which is RX 570. Anyway, thank you for your suggestions!
  6. Thank you so much for the references! What do you think about intel CPU such as i5-11400F?
  7. Budget (including currency): Rp 8000000 - Rp 11000000 ( Indonesian Rupiah) or around 561$ - 771$ Country: Indonesia Games, programs or workloads that it will be used for: Valorant (Competitive), Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effect, Medibang Paint Pro Other details : Wanting to upgrade but still using the same GPU (since I can't afford new GPU right now as of the price is high but GPU recommendation for future references are welcomed). I'm playing Valorant competitively so I want an upgrade that can handle 144fps almost all the time since I'm using 144Hz monitor. Need a decent CPU to multi task between my work such as using google (while opening video and such) and doing my edit with Primer Pro or After Effect. My current specs are : Processor : AMD Ryzen 3 3100 Mainboard : Gigabyte A320M S2H Ram :Team Elite+ 16GB (2x8GB) DDR4 2666MHz SSD : M.2 Team 256GB MS30 HDD : Seagate 1TB 7200rpm VGA : PowerColor Radeon RX 570 4GB DDR5 PSU : Aerocool LUX 550W 80+ Bronze Case : Cube Gaming Byron
  8. fyi, the driver's timeout only occur on Assassin Creed Origin in a specific places but there's a lot of them near an objective and such. I'm currently using Aerocool LUX 80+ Bronze 550Watt PSU/ Power Supply 550 W as my PSU.
  9. Recently I used ddu for my driver because I kept getting driver timout when playing assasin creed origin but now it says that my current gpu and cpu doesnt meet the recommended specs and it even says the rx 6900 XT doest meet it too. The driver time out while playing game also still occur after using DDU and clean reinstall driver.
  10. I found out that it is just the sound of HDD noise that is made when we are trying to get info from it such as temp etc (according to another forum post). But I was just curios why sometimes it made that noise when I'm not using Crystal Disk Info. Anyway, thank you for your reply! I really appreciate it.
  11. My HDD is in a good condition according to Hard Disk Sentinel and Crystal Disk Info. Thank you for the information! Just to clarify and add something, my drive doesn't make the "noise" when booting up, only like the disk spinning and then its quiet. I also just notice this sound my HDD makes every time I open up Crystal Disk Info https://voca.ro/166sNRsfEawg(NOTE: put your volume all the way up) and ALSO some times it makes this noise for half a sec out of nowhere(VERY RARELY). Is my new HDD breaking or is this normal??? What is this sound? I'm pretty sure this is not the head sound or anything right?
  12. Thank you for the reply! It seems that the noise is gone for a while now.
  13. I have separated my OS into an SSD with 256gb of storage, I'm just scared that this new HDD is not working optimally "physically" since the seek error rate basically indicate the HDD head (correct me if I'm wrong since I read it on google). Oh yeah about the noise, I don't know if it tick noise or just like noise that HDD suppose to make but yeah sometimes it made noise. I just got this HDD and I'm already using half of it for editing file and such.
  14. So my last SEAGATE BARACUDA 1 TB HDD failed and it was only used for 8 months and now I bought the same type of HDD but with 2TB of storage. Is this normal for the new HDD, I don't know much but HDD but I have read that new HDD seek error rate should be at 100 for the current tab while I only have 65. Also that sometimes my HDD made 1-2 tick noise every know and then (not always but always when startup and sometimes when in use but sometimes it doesn't make any noise when pc is being used) Can anyone tell me which one of this information should I pay attention to? I'm really scared that this new HDD is not in a perfect condition and I'm scared that it will fail like my last HDD.
  15. I think so because the sound is coming from my HDD
  16. Today, I turn on my pc like usual but something was strange that my HDD was making 2 beeping noise on pc startup but when the pc is on, there is no sound, only on startup. When I tried to open up one of my application, it says there's a problem with the shortcut. I then realized that my HDD was missing on devices and drives and only my ssd is available. Is my drive dead or can I still retrieve my data worth of 500gbish? Also, on device manager it said that the device is working properly.
  17. If I may ask, so the card is fine running for extended amount of time while the memory clock stays at max speed? Because I mainly use this computer for my university work for about 14 hours a day doing light work such as google docs, online classes or browsing using both monitor.
  18. Okay thank you so much for the suggestions, I just edit my fan curve settings and now it stays on 42 °C, the only problem now is the power consumption. While doing light work such as google docs, browsing, or being in online class, the average power draw from the GPU is around 21W.
  19. Thank you for the detailed reply, I just tried to run both monitor at 60Hz and the GPU memory clock still runs on max speed. With only 1 monitor running (the 144hz or the 75hz) the memory clock is idle which is 300Mhz. I don't know why the GPU be on an idle state with two monitor running. But if you says that it is completely safe the card running with that kind of temps and with the GPU memory clock at max speed, I guess its fine. But it would be nice if there is a fix to this problem.
  20. Oh I didn't realized that one display, the memory clock is only 300Mhz, but why would it run at max speed with second monitor plugged in? Is there anyway to fix this or is that just the way it is?
  21. is it safe running with these temps for that amount of time? will it damage the card in anyway? at this temp, the fan is not running
  22. I just check it with GPU-Z, GPU clock is at 300Mhz and memory clock at 1750Mhz.
