  1. I was thinking of actually leaving the power button on as well AND no I don't get frequent power cuts all the time but some days, power will go out for less than 1 min for like 10 time in 1 day. On one such unfortunate day, it messed up my PSU and I had to get it replaced which is why I got a UPS.
  2. Thanks for the reply. I don't know much about computer and just wanted to know if my electricity bill will increase significantly if I do this. Thanks for your reply anyways.
  3. Absolutely correct. I myself am an addict of content consumption. I have seen my addiction get the worst of me. I have used my phone and PC even when my eyes hurt like hell. I play Valorant and CSGO both daily for 3-4 hrs. I attend my college classes and the rest of the time, I am reading manga or watching YouTube. I fricking know I am an addict but I just can't help myself as I love all of the activities so much. I am now(since yesterday) getting back in practicing programming on Leetcode and other competitive coding websites which I stopped due to my same additction. After reading your post, I decided to share my story as well. Get some hobby like playing guitar( I do), playing chess or any other thing which keeps your eyes off the devices. I have also noted restlessness when sitting doing nothing (I always look at something or just play songs) and trouble falling asleep without getting my eyes tired from my phone and PC. This is worrying me more as I write Just control yourself as I will try to do from now on...
  4. I just have RGB keyboard and mouse which also turn off when PC is shut down. But I think that 20W will stack up if I keep my UPS on everyday for 4 - 5 hrs
  5. Thanks for your reply. I was curious about this because whenever I switch on the UPS, it makes a loud beep sound and I wanted to avoid that when I turn on my PC late night secretly. Guess I will keep the UPS off after all.
  6. My question is same as the title. Not much to add here. Would appreciate any help
  7. Thank you everyone for replying. I forgot about this post until now. The problem was with FC3 only all other games keep my gpu at 65 - 70 only. It could also be the fact the my PC was close to wall and there was no way for heat to escape. I stopped playing FC3 and the problem went away
  8. I have built a new PC with Ryzen 5 3500 Gigabyte B450M H Nvidia GTX 1650 Super 8 GB DDR4 2666MHz RAM 450W PSU I noticed that when I run Far Cry 3, my PC gets very hot so I went to task manager to see what was my GPU temp. It was 81 C. I then ran witcher 3 and Watch Dogs and notices the same thing. Temp is very high when playing games I play on ultra settings and PC is only 3 - 4 days old. Also, I am using stock fan that came with AMD and one fan that was in my cabinet. Any suggestions on how to bring my temp down? Thanks in advance
