  1. I waited 28 minutes, and several other times ranging from 3-10 mins, (I turned it off and on again). I will try taking out the battery.
  2. I recently upgraded to am5 so my specs are: 7800x3d, rx 6800, 32 GB ddr5 6000, b650 tomahawk wifi. I have had long boot times (62s) since the upgrade from a 5600x. I recently enabled the automatic and GPU overclock which requires a restart. After shutting off, the PC did not boot. All lights and peripherals are on. I have a light signalling CPU and ram error on MB. I reseated the ram and it did nothing. Unsure where to go as I cannot boot into windows so recovery mode or any sort of software stuff is not possible as it will not post at all.
  3. It occurs mainly in games yes, however not exclusively. I have also been using HWmonitor, and my cpu and GPU temps are fine. Originally the overheating was due to the cpu bottom contact sticker being unpeeled (was pretty funny when I realized). Is there anything I can set up to record a log to give error info once the pc restarts?
  4. Hello, I have a PC I built during COVID: (6800XT, 5600X, 16gb ddr4 3600), which I have been having several errors that have been increasingly occurring now. There are 3 main issues: 1. My PC was originally shutting down, however has since been solved, (re-seating the CPU and new thermal paste). 2. The PC randomly shuts down, with no error or BSOD, or even a message saying overheating issue. This happens at any time, can happen 2 times in a row and in any games too. 3. Occasionally when I turn on the PC it will be distorted and discolored (Included Pictures). I have used several different Display port cables. Not sure if it is my monitor as I cant get it to repeat itself, it just happens randomly. It is always fixed by disconnecting power and display cord for 10 seconds. I am wondering if these issues are related? Anyone know what it could be? Thanks.
  5. I recently built a new PC, a couple months ago: https://pcpartpicker.com/list/rHJj8J The PC worked fine after I got it for a month, until I purchased a new monitor on sale: AOC AG273QG AGON III 27" G-Sync Anti-tearing Gaming Monitor I was running it at 1440p 165Hz on a DP 1.2 cable, and a couple days after I got it, I got the static that is visible in the image attached. I assumed it was due to using DP 1.2 on this resolution/ refresh rate, so I ordered a 1.4 cable. However, I am not sure if it could be a GPU related issues or so, as the second monitor would also not display and output until the main monitor did. After re-plugging the monitor in, it fixed itself. Once the new cable arrived, I didn't run into the same issue again for a couple weeks, until it happened again just now. Does anyone have any suggestions as to what I should do? Thanks.
  6. I might downgrade from my 1440p 60 htz Monitor to 1080p at 144htz. Will the change in resolution be noticeable? What are some good 144 htz monitors. And, will my 1060 6gb and i5 7500 get 144fps at 1080p, it currently gets 60 fps on all games I play. (Destiny 2, GTAV, CSGO). I understand that the upgrade will only be good if I would be achieving 144 FPS in games.
