  1. Hi, Installation Failure: Windows failed to install the following update with error 0x8024200B: Update for Windows (KB5011558). I've spent the last few days ( 20 hours or so total) now trying to resolve it but I cant.... I installed windows server 2022 datacenter edition on a older pc. I bought a dell OptiPlex. I'm Using it for a LOCAL backup network drive server and set it up with a local domain. The problem is I cant install this one cumulative update for the windows 2022 server OS. It's continued to install other windows updates but not this one. I even downloaded the standalone update installer and it fails... I've tried running sfc scan / dism.. along with turning off the windows update services and deleting cat folder / the software distribution folder and nothing is working. I'll put snap shot images below. Also, there is NO recovery option in windows server when I click recovery. It's just blank. Oh, and I mounted the windows server iso to try to reinstall or do recovery etc but it asks to delete ALL data and no options like regular windows where you reinstall OS / settings but keep your data. FYI Im running windows server 2022 evaluation edition.. I am going to purchase a license but I wanted to test the setup first ( i have about 108 eval days left). I've had this setup for over a month now with zero issues until this update. I want to test it since I know win server 2022 is very new and the pc im using is old & i am using a nvidia gpu on it 1030 nvidia. DO I need to use a older windows server version? Is this the problem? If so what's the latest I can use? Please let me know if there is anything left I can do or if I must just reinstall windows server? From what I read online it's looking like a common issue for all window versions not just server editions... and most people end up having to reinstall. I've even run into this issue before on my regular windows 10 pc years ago and I fixed it with deleting software update folder. BTW SORRY FOR MY ENGLISH! here is the error from windows update area I have hyper-v with 2 vms setup but they are not running. OH I Have ESET File server security installed if that matters? I read that anti virus can cause issues so I uninstalled it and re did all the things I said already and it still failed & YES this is a legal copy/ install of eset windows file security. I bought it directly from eset.
  2. i've spent 4 days now contiously. with no luck anyone willing to be nice / cool and try to help a fellow member? I've installed over 16 vm's now and re-followed tutorials online over & over + googled 100 different things & still I can't get the nvidia driver installed Can't render videos, and videos game don't work. Well CSGO does but that's it! Warzon.. etc dont . they just give errors. / faulting errors in windows event log I even went ahead and reinstalled my PC Host's OS completely again "windows 10 pro"
  3. Would Like if anyone could help? I'll pay for help. I copied everything tutorial said. CSGO wasn't working. I then decided to try moving all files starting with NV inside windows/sys64wow folder also from host pc to sys64wow on vm and then csgo started working. It was odd because it only said copy NV files from system32. I guess it's different depending on system? My pc is a hp omen 875-1022 I still can't get warzone working/ any video rendering working. But CSGO now works after moving nv files from sy64wow. I yesterday reinstalled my windows 10 Pro HOST OS completely seeing if that fix it, and it didn't help at all. Here's images below... to show I know I copied it correctly. FYI it says move nv_dispi.inf_amd64 from host machine dir C:\Windows\System32\DriverStore\FileRepository\ to VM's C:\Windows\System32\HostDriverStore\FileRepository\ thing is no nv_dispi.inf_amd64 exists on my pc. Checking gpu driver details my gpu is nvhdci.inf_amd64_cb1d78abfa910621 Just wanna add the 2080ti shows up in my vm's device manager. Btw in vm's device manager says 2080ti is working but under resources tab I don't see it showing any memory ranges.. it's just empty. Is that normal? I'll attach that Here's pics from my vm. the 1 pic though showing devicemanager info though that's from host pc. Just showing my folder isn't nvdisp.
  4. Hello, I followed this tutorial which worked! I can play counter-strike 1.6 and do unreal engine benchmark and it infact does use my 2080ti in the VM! My issue is Counter-strike GO / warzone don't seem to work. CSGO I get a nvapi.dll error. Warzone I get a faulting error. Then with video rendering software's won't work either.. Any fix? I can't install nvidia driver on VM, it says no compatible hardware. My old pc i have ESXI installed (980gtx) and was able to do gpu-p with no problem but that computer finally died a week ago I don't care to mess too much with my main PC. Does secure boot need to be enabled on my host windows 10 PC? IS that the issue? I have it turned off but my main PC apparently has TPM enabled. My vm shows it has secure boot though,.
  5. yep it worked. tested with a vm and 2nd account HAHA.THANK U.
  6. THANK U! will it still hide it from friends also? As long as im not in voice with them?
  7. I've spent last 2 days now trying to turn off discord activity status. I turn it off remove any found games, and launch a game. It continues to just show the game im playing... It's gotten to the point I'm afraid I may need to just make a new discord account. Attaching video and photo for proof.
  8. LMFAOOO trust me if you were in my shoes atm.... u would be questioning everything u hear or see. I am not paranoid anymore i looked into it but not gonna lie this thread is epic.

  10. Hi, I Have the HP OMEN Obelisk 875-1022 Gaming Desktop Computer, Intel Core i9-9900K 3.6GHz, 16GB RAM, 1TB SSD, NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2080 Ti 11GB, Windows 10 Home I saw FBI / also CIA.INI File in C:\system.sav CIA.ini i did some research it appears hp made this into some internal joke of theirs..... but it got out and is seen inside there USB Recover windows sticks. They sent me one to reformat because my drivers are jacked up! I read the CIA Stands for "Compaq Installation Assistance"./.. i . forget the fbi one.. but either way a Brand company shouldn't be naming things FBI / CIA in 2020.... You think there's something more sinister going on? it aint funny The current USB stick they sent me doesn't even work so there sending another, and I'm afraid to reformat my HP OMEN using windows USB creation because I'm afraid i'll end up with a computer with no internet etc... even with the drivers. I Also read that HP has been caught putting back doors in there realtek audio drivers.so im not sure what to do I had a Powerspec before.... but it was trash parts and microcenter said no issues were found every time they ran tests yet ( i had artifacts, freezing, pc would randomly not turn on etc) i was able to get them to replace with a faster pc etc aka the hp omen. I do not recommend powerspec products ever.. but... microcenter stores are amazing, and so is the staff so no diss to them attatched logs... BTW ANY WAY to format HP USB stick they sent that was the wrong one so i can use it for just personal use? Its access write protected haha. hpusbsticklog1.txt
