My current PSU is a corsair 450 watt gold rated psu. I have an Intel i7 5820k with a possible 1080 ti founders edition card.

Hey all! I am in the middle of building a pc and I've run across a power supply problem. I currently have a 450 watt psu from a pervious upgrade I did. I ran my components through Outervission and Newegg psu calculators and I got a 376 rating on Outervision and a 496 psu rating on Newegg. Can I get by with a 450 watt power supply or do I need to get a new one? Responds to this thread is appreciated.

Do I need to find a different case?

Hello! I’m a noob to pc building. I recently got a pc case with the dimensions of 16.40" x 6.92" x 14.80" (H x W x D). I have installed on my motherboard a basic Hyper 212 Evo cpu cooler with (4.7 x 3.0 x 6.2) (L x W x H). The width of the pc case on paper looks like it can accommodate the height of the cpu fan. However, when I installed my motherboard, the cpu fan was to tall. Can anyone explain what I’m missing? Reply’s appreciated.
