my nephew has a HP prebuilt. No way to disable the IGPU, and the board does not have video output. The IGPU is eating 2 GB out of 8 Bios does not have the option to disable -

I miss my BB keyboard, I was so proficient with it and it was a godsend. But my brain is now hardwired to touch that I can't come back unless the phone is beefy

MGS2 is available for PC; but it's an old game and it has problems to run in modern hardware, you need external mods MGS3 on Emulation only

That is indeed very strange. Here are my suggestions. Lower the settings in the game and see if the issues continue Check if the PCI EX is actually not something weird, use GPU-Z and check it's 16x (maybe it's sharing lanes with NVME) Check if the processor is actually boosting clocks. Install a game in a SSD and check, maybe it's a weird streaming issue If everything fails I would reinstall Windows.

if you take the battery or clear cmos, make sure the PC is unplugged. Also, make sure that you clear the power by pressing POWER while unplugged for a few secs -
