  1. Hello, I been shopping for a monitor for a while now. I'm coming from a ViewSonic VX3258 I've had since 2019 and would like an upgrade. I had my eyes on 2 monitors, LG 32GP850-B and MSI MPG Artymis 323CQR. i would like some opinions on which one to get and/or recommendations outside my choices. My current rig is sporting a RX 5700 XT and Ryzen 3800x but i will upgrade soon this year with the rumors of the new Radeon Cards and Zen Chips. I mostly game but im into comic/manga art drawing as well. What do you have for me?
  2. I'm in the US. $300 dollars is the max. I'm powering a R7 3800x with a RX 5700 XT with 32gb ram at 3600mhz. Looking to upgrade to Ryzen 5000 probably a 5700x or 5900x and Big Navi when they come out (EDIT: I honestly don't care if its B550 OR X570, I'm looking for the best mobo that dont cost alot but has the features to support the components I have now and will support future components if and when I decide to upgrade)
  3. I have a NZXT H710 case. I'm not for liquid cooling so I bought a Dark Rock Pro 4 from be quiet!. Does anyone know a good case layout for the best airflow solution? The case is really not made for airflow, well not like a p400a or a TD500 is but I heard that the case is fine if you have a good layout. I would also like some case fans recommendations as well. Please and thank you
  4. I'm looking into getting a new MOBO and I was thinking of going B550. I'm stuck on getting the Aorus Master or the Gigabyte Vision D. I know that Gigabyte owns Aorus just like Asus owns ROG and TUF but what I would like to know is that is there a difference between Gigabyte and Aorus in stuff like build quality, software, BIOS, Longevity, etc. I also would like to know which board I should go with or if anyone has any recommendations? Thanks
  5. I've been looking at the Corsair RM 2019 PSUs. Sorry if I missed it, but does anyone know where they'd fit in this?
  6. I game, I stream, I draw comics and doodle and I was looking to get into doing my own video editing. I originally wanted a powerhouse pc that can handle that and pretty much handle anything you can throw at it for a good while too. I'm looking to change my MOBO, my PSU and my RAM but only if needed be, (when my pc crapped, I was told it was either of the 3 culprits and I doubt it's the ram because the RAM didnt give any signs that it was failing so I'm putting money on either the PSU or MOBO) im ditching my X570 Aorus Master for X570 Asus Strix X570-e because the MOBO comes with a lot of the features, flags and whistles that the Master has and I heard Asus has better software and they have a 3 year warranty on their products too. I'm thinking of ditching my NZXT H710 and going with something that has more efficent airflow. I'm thinking Lian Li Lancool II Mesh or Phanteks p500a. All honesty I'm really looking to spend as much as possible but not as much to where I can rebuild the whole thing again. If that doesnt make sense. I was looking at my last build and save a few bucks on different parts but not completely cheap out at the same time
  7. Okay I get it. Thank you. I understand. Anything you'd like to reccomend?
  8. - To Moonzy I forgot I use a 850w 80+ Gold from EVGA.
  9. - To tkitch 2 to 3 years too I guess. I keep forgetting technology is constantly evolving and in 2 to 3 years there might be Ray Tracing becoming a staple than a gimmick, extinction of Hard Disks, 4k becoming the new 1440p, etc etc... - To fpo That's the plan. My first built I let my vanity get the best of me and ended up spending money on really extravagant parts for my skill level, let alone taste, only for it to shit on me 4 months in its life. My biggest changes are the motherboard, PSU and RAM (possibly). If you are interested I'll give you the full specs of my setup along with the changes I will be making - to GhostRoadieBL Believe me, my pc build caused me alot of stress just trying to put it together. Imagine what I felt when it went down only just 4 months into its life. I vowed on my life to take great care of this one - To warmongerp No offense but that sounds really sketchy that PC would obtain problems just by powering them off but what do I know? I'm new to this PC building stuff - To Moonzy The Power Supply is one of the components I will be changing but I watched some videos on YouTube saying that having too much watts is almost as bad as having too little watts. My set up barely uses 500w (509w to be exact, according to PCPartPicker). I wanted to know what the max overclocks that my set up would need if and when I get into overclocking or buying a 3900x or RTX 3000 card
  10. I was hoping to get advice on choosing a power supply and maybe some more tips so that my pc new tune ups dont crap out on me like my previous build. I want to know what can I do to keep my pc running for a long while until I get to the point to where I'll NEED to build a new pc again atleast.
  11. I'm at my wits end. I formatted my storage like 5 times now, I reinstalled Windows 5 times, and even updated the BIOS as well. I also factory reset Windows and uninstalled all drivers, games, EVERYTHING on the PC. I've been out of a PC for quite some time now due to an (or what I thought it was) unknown error from my Motherboard. Got my Motherboard working but now my PC doesnt want to work right and when I say "work right" it won't go to sleep. Instead it just reboots and reboots. Even when I force it to sleep it just reboots. Also when I enter the boot menu, it has me reselect my boot drive all over again (I'm new to PC building, I dont know If this is a thing or not) I'm seriously reconsidering replacing the Motherboard, the RAM and Storage devices because I looked on all other forums on the internet and they say its possibly hardware issue and If it is, it's either of the 3 I listed before. Can anyone help me before I waste more money (like I said, at my wits end)
  12. My PC wont sleep. I fell into a hole with my PC and I had to do alot of things before I realized I needed to clear my CMOS, it's a long story. Now my PC wont sleep right, if not at all. It keeps rebooting even when I force it to sleep. I reformatted and wiped my SSD and HDD 3 times now and I reinstalled Windows 10. I also updated the BIOS to its latest version. Anyone know what's going on?
