Both are really expensive. Both coolers are good, just grab the cheaper one.
How much is RX 6750 XT / 6700 XT / 6800 ?

jensenco reacted to Hinjima in GPU Advice
They will perform exactly the same ( give or take 1-3 frames at best ). I would get the MSI.

RX 6700 XT more often than not trades blows with RTX 3070 in games so for $550 it's a lot better deal. (unless you count Ray Tracing which is borderline usable even with NVIDIA on this tier of performance),
Unless you need NVIDIA for CUDA if you work with some particular software then I would get that instead. Definitely ignore the $641 one, makes no sense.

Do you perhaps wear polarized sunglasses? I have noticed that my prescription sunglasses cause strange effects when viewing certain types of screens.

If your GPU support DP and the DP had higher refresh rate, then yes you can switch over to DP.
If not then they is no point.
Converter from HDMI to DP will not make any differences as the based (your GPU HDMI) is not support it.

Wow pricing is really bad in turkey. You guys pay around double compared to EU or US.
From what i could find in your budget, the Gigabyte G24F seems like the best choice.
But if you can get the Alienware AW2521HF for the same price, absolutely go for it, it's much better.

In not sure about Canadian prices. This is not bad.

They have gone down to about $500 US lately. But they sell out quickly at that price

Then I would definitely recommend stepping up to a 3060 ti or RX 6700. Are you buying in the united states?
the 3050 isn't very power hungry.
-
jensenco reacted to Sat1600 in Graphic Card Advice
The 3060 is cut down from the 3060ti. The difference is significant.

jensenco reacted to Chris Pratt in M2 recommendation for B450 Tomahawk Max?
B450 only supports PCIe 3.0, so the max drive speed is 3500Mbps. A 980 Pro will work, because PCIe is backwards compatible, but you'll max out at half it's rated speed.

jensenco reacted to Electronics Wizardy in M2 recommendation for B450 Tomahawk Max?
FIrst of all, those are peak sequential speeds they won't affect things like boot time or game load time. Even a sata ssd will be about as fast.
Your board can also only run at gen 3 x4 speeds, or about 3400mB/s, so they will preform about the same here due to your board.

Those are manufacturing blemishes. Perfectly normal. You can't have a 100% perfectly polished product that comes off an assembly line in China.

Was the original seal on the packaging torn or damaged in any way?
I don't see personally anything particularly notable in the images that might indicate that it was used.

If you bought it with a sealed box, it's new. No large retailer would sell a used part. And if the CPU works fine, theres no need to worry. Modern CPUs live for 10-20 years before dying of old age.

Huh, https://www.itopya.com/asus-rog-strix-550w-80-gold-full-moduler-135mm-fanli-psu/, the ROG strix seems to ber your best bet, seeing how it is available at a heavily discounted price. I think that this is one of the newer models, without the tripping with high-transient issues of the older focus units
-
jensenco reacted to Mateyyy in PSU Suggestion
If it's cheaper than a Corsair RM550x or a be quiet! Straight Power 11 550W, go for the Strix.
Actually, how much can you get a Focus GM/GX for? The Strix iirc is pretty much that but with a better fan.
-
jensenco reacted to Haro in PSU Suggestion
I mean if this one is cheaper then definitely it.
And you don't really need a 750w unit. A 550w is way more than enough so if you can find an MWE gold 550w for cheaper that is also a solid option.
