  1. I plugged in my HyperX quadcast and windows gave me a prompt to fix the USB device that had been previously malfunctioning. Usually I follow these prompts but this time I didn't. Now all my inputs sound very bad, and have a crackling in the background. Any way I can get this USB/Other fix back? Thank you
  2. Im very sorry.. Im doing this for a friend who isnt as experienced. He has told me that he made the mistake of reading the bios version of his old Mobo and mistaking it for the new one. This is definitely the issue And I can help him update his bios to a compatible version with his 5800x. Sorry again, thanks for the help!
  3. I wrote down Bios Version before, It was at 1.2.. So that cant be the issue
  4. "the gpu fans not spinning might not mean anything, the card may just have zero rpm mode at low temps/idle" I figured, this is true for my main computer... Just thought maybe helpful
  5. You are right, I will reseat the ram and try with one stick, than do this to see
  6. I would assume the updated bios to support 5000 series would be already on it seeing its a recently purchased board. Either way I'd need to reinstall the old cpu and check for both...

  11. BIOS Says its running at 1500Rpm and its set to always be at full speed.
  12. Ill say the same thing I said to Chris but I have tried taking the front panel off the case and there is no temperature difference. And I would also agree that the m22 is not really enough with my components, but ive tried normal air coolers, and have replaced this one once before and it has made no difference.

  14. Just our of nowhere, my under load CPU temperatures have gone up to 95 degrees, not below or exceeding of it. It has been decreasing performance allot and Id like to know where to start on troubleshooting. I have had temperature problems since the moment my PC Turned on, with high idle temperatures in the 50s and 60's, but load temps were good under 80 degrees so It didn't matter. Playing my favorite games (Forza, Flight Simulator) The temperatures immediately, just when launching go to 95 degrees. My performance has decreased in the 40% range since Ive noticed the temperature and performance problems. This occurs when video editing in premiere too. I have replaced the cooler before and its made no difference. I have taken off the front panel of the case and it makes no temperature difference. I have also re reapplied thermal paste and resenting the cooler to no difference as well. My GPU (3070TI) Never gets over 55 degrees regularly so the gpu cant be affecting it much. The pump is running at full speed there are any other troubleshooting steps I could take before buying things would be great. So im wondering if Ive always had a bad CPU and now its gotten worse, or the cooler is on its last legs? Thanks CPU - 3600 Cooler - NZXT Kraken M22 Case - NZXT H510 Elite, (2X 140MM Push fans, 2X 120MM Pull fans, one is the CPU Rad) GPU - 3070TI Gigabyte Ram - 3600MHZ 16GB Corsair Vengeance
  15. 1st monitor - 1440p 32in 144hz 2nd monitor - 23in 1080p 60hz I just bought my second monitor, as streaming without one is not great, so I bought a crappy one for cheap on craigslist, its fine, nothing special. When I open streamlabs and start playing games, my game looks weirdly not smooth, I have msi's monitoring and saw both times my fps is locked at 144fps. But still with the same fps, the game is signifiantly less smooth. This also happens while streaming on discord. Before I had this monitor no problems, game was smooth while streaming in discord or on twitch? when I turn of preview of my stream it helps (some of the time) even though as I said through all three instances the fps is the same, any help? I play mostly R6 Siege
  16. Hiya, I have a pair of WH100XM3 Headphones, I use them for everyday usages, I use it to game, take it out and about and all that crap. For people who don't know, with wireless headphones, if you want to use your microphone on the headset, you need to use the "hands free" in your audio settings, with that you sacrifice audio quality and stereo sound, Ok, But i don't use my headsets mic, but I have problems, along with my brother with the same headset. So, to use stereo, every program needs to be set to your stereo headset to work, if it is set to handree free, no audio will work. But all my programs are set to stereo, in windows and the programs, and sometimes, it doesn't work, of course headphones are charged and so on. To fix this, I either unplug my dedicated mic (idk why the f*ck that works to fix it) and sometimes I disconnect my headset and reconnect it, both are short term fixes and sometimes don't work, either one of these really shouldn't help lol. In sea of thieves, I set the program to stereo and my mic, but still cancels out al audio when I am playing, So i have to change all my audio settings when I play, even when like I said window's per program audio settings are set correctly, Id like to know peoples opinions and ideas from any person familiar with wireless audio or who share this problem. I have WH100XM3 Headphones Hyperx Quadcast Mic
  17. Just wanted to show this to the community. September 14th I got an email responding to my case that my coolers backplate was broken. Just now I received word that they have it in stock, which makes it 4 months at 5 days to get a replacement part. I have a few different nzxt products that I use in my daily life and now I have transferred away from that software and hardware. NZXT Inability to provide support and replacement parts for something that is so simple is absolutely unacceptable, seems like they'd rather lose customers than care for the loyal supporter I used to be. My representative Matt L was very kind at updating me on the status, this is nzxt's problem and nothing against the support rep.
  18. use differnt usb port, that fixed it for me
