I don't even know what to do at this point, I may have to RMA my mobo. Windows is taking up 16gb of my ram for "Hardware reserves" in task manager for some reason. And I can't seem to figure out what to do about it. Bios only is recognizing 16gb of ram which is a red flag in itself, that I don't know how to fix. I recently got another 16gb kit because I was having this issue with where only 8gb where able to be used and 8 were for hardware reserve. I have done everything from updating bios, to reseating ram, to going into boot settings to try and force all to be usable, it still doesn't work.
Specs:
Ryzen 5 1600
GTX 1080
500 gb Samsung 860 evo SSD
2 TB seagate barracuda harddrive
16gb of t-force Nighthawk rgb ram
16gb of Corsair Vengance RGB Pro Ram
(Yes I know that I have two different models of ram, but it's still being detected by windows so that shouldn't be the issue)
Any help would be greatly appreciated, as mobo prices are either high or out of stock and I'm tired of having issues with this.
